"Oh really?" CC said in a patronizing tone to add to the teasing.

"Yes, really!" Lelouch shouted excitedly as an answer. "Besides, I am unlike someone here who took a week to get used to speaking in English even after being taught already for a long."

"Hmph! It's only because I also did not put my mind to it!" Suzaku responded loudly with a glare.

She was taught English much earlier before Lelouch even came to Japan, she only started getting used to speaking in English now because she now has Lelouch to speak in English.

Everyone mostly spoke Nihongo in a Japanese household after all.

Marianne and CC only felt quite amused at the two of them as they watched by the side.

The servant had already left quite a while ago when Lelouch was still crying in his mother's arms.

"So...

What have you been doing all this time here?" Marianne asked in a curious tone Lelouch as she started going inside the house that Lelouch is staying in.

"Nothing much, I have just been staying here honestly.

I was not allowed to go anywhere or outside but it's fine I have a friend here.

Right, mom!

How is Nunnally?!" Lelouch said calmly at first before shouting with energy at the end.

"She is fine. She is currently with your Uncle Alister.

You can't meet each other right now though.

Sigh...

It's really hard to move around for us, you are smart so you should understand.

Anyway, let's get somewhere no one would be able to hear anything.

I'm going to tell you some things and teach some others." Marianne said before taking Lelouch into another room that was only separated by a thin Japanese sliding door.

Suzaku saw that and wanted to ask what are they going somewhere for, but was held up by CC, who knows what's what.

CC then started talking with Suzaku about Lelouch, about how exactly he was since he got to Japan.

It only took a few minutes for the talk to finish as it was only Marianne who was saying things while Lelouch can only listen and follow.

Even though Lelouch wanted to protest about still being left here and not being brought along by Marianne later, he can't, cause Marianne is talking about everything in a very serious tone that seems to convey that he should only obey.

That's why when they got back to join CC and Suzaku, Lelouch had a sulking pout on his face, he wanted to meet Nunnally personally to see if she is really fine.

Now he even started hating his Uncle Alister a little because Alister did not bring Nunnally to meet him.

As they got out, Lelouch saw that CC and Suzaku were giggling while talking to each other in a whispering voice.

He did not hear anything but he felt that it was not good so he interrupted them by getting closer while also thinking that he might be able to hear some parts of what they are talking about.

But that's just wishful thinking as CC and Suzaku had already seen him coming back so they stopped talking about the topic.

Truthfully, their topic is Lelouch himself, they were talking about his compilation of hilarious fails starting from when Suzaku and Lelouch met each other.

It was because Lelouch is not used to Japanese etiquette and various practices that he suffered hilariously many times since he got to Japan.

His failure only got funnier when he made friends with Suzaku as she made it so that he would fail hilariously like treating wasabi as a salad cause it was green.

Lelouch is not picky so he can eat his veggies, it's just that, someone wanted to mess with him, so, he ate all the wasabi in a small dip serving, whole.

Marianne and Lelouch, together with CC and Suzaku had only talked casually and played some board games with some snacks brought by servants until the time when Marianne and CC had to go.

In the meanwhile...

AA and Nunnally had fun at the festival before visiting the theme park.

It was the first time that Nunnally got into a theme park because it was not convenient for the royalty to go to crowded public places.

That's why her smile was ever-present and she was giggling all the time.

For her, it was like she was in a fairyland of fun and games with her daddy.

AA had a lot of fun too especially since it was quite a long time ago the last time he got into a theme park.

He also had fun taking pictures of her of his beautiful, lovely, and cute baby girl.

They were running around all over the theme park and tried everything that Nunnally was allowed to try.

The mention of the word 'allowed' is because Nunnally is still a little girl so she is prohibited from trying out some rides like roller coasters and the haunted house.

After that, they started going around sightseeing, the bullet train is already up and running so the traveling time is quite fast.

Going to some museums and stuff.

They passed some place where there is something big that is being built.

It can be seen from the window view of the train.

"Daddy? What is that?!" Nunnally asked curiously.

So as the proud father that AA is, he has to give a correct answer to not ruin his image of being the smartest and greatest dad ever.

So he quickly used the tablet that he brought with him in his backpack and searched the archive and the intelligence reports that Fury gave him.

"Hmmm?!" AA hummed in a slight shock as he did not see this one before.

He saw one report from Fury that came only a few days ago when they were in the midst of their journey underwater.

The intelligence report says that the thing that is being built is a mass driver.

The plan was supposed to be big at first but it was thrown away because it needed too much funding which no one was willing to give yet as the project leader had yet to give any result because of being new, so they made a smaller one with plans to be able to make it into the original big design when the time comes that they got more funding.

The mass driver is like a slingshot using electromagnets.

It shoots out things fast enough that it would be able to break out of the atmosphere and into space.

"Baby, that thing should be called a mass driver." AA said with a slight smile. "It can shoot things out into the atmosphere.

Sounds amazing right?

Hehehe..."
