Ch. 39 Finally awake

In the dark forest enveloped by the cold howlings of the wind. Raiz looked at his feet, there was numerous monster lying dead. He had done numerous experiments on tonight's "guests".

Raiz was especially happy for raising his realm stage while he was experiencing the different uses of his power. Training while fighting was the best training method, he wished the night would be longer.

While Raiz is in perfect condition, others couldn't be said to be the same. Some received injuries while others' mana was running low. They were all waiting eagerly for the night to end.

Alia was the only other one who was in a perfect state. Every time a monster would come, it was either an injury or a non-aggressive monster. Even the cloud was looking at her like she was the chosen one

She was honing her skills of healing while somehow monsters avoided fighting with her. This was phenomenal and never happened before, nonetheless, a welcomed one.

Moon who didn't seem to be doing anything was actually training. The whole night he was putting dense energies around his body that weighed down on him. Unfortunately, this training didn't produce any results.

Moon didn't know if it was working or not as it usually would take him a long time to advance a stage in the mortal realm. He would rather suffer in infinity knowing, he would progress somewhere.

The night had finally come into as the sun rose in the sky. Everyone sighed out of relief, many were counting on their mana, which was almost depleted.

Everyone was in Myr realm but they still needed a night of sleep after a long fight. Recovering their mana was also important and so everyone gathered up. Moon looked at the tired faces and saw even Raiz who had no injuries was tired.

It seemed it took a toll on him from all the expansion he had done with his gravity. Moon was proud of their hard and told them to rest. He would be keeping everyone safe in the meantime.

Moon didn't need sleep since he was a proud cloud. Everyone gladly accepted his offer as they slept on the white tiger's fluffy warm stomach. It was more comfortable to sleep on a tiger than on cold wood.

Everyone went into their dreamland comfortably. The monsters didn't stop coming as they followed the trail of blood from the beasts. When the beast came and saw free pray on the ground. They took their nest to eat and this kept happening until all the beasts were taken.

Moon stopped putting the heavy energy on himself. It was taking a toll on him and he didn't know if he would need to fight. it was better to be careful than be sorry later.

Moon calmly watched as the sun was approaching mid-day. The first one to wake up was Aurora. She stretched her body, ready to welcome the new day and soon the others woke up from their slumbers.

Everyone had healed their injuries from the last night's fights. The one who had heavies injuries was Brav, whose body was charged against every beast he was fighting. This also made his body stronger and sturdier than the others.

Everyone looked at the white tiger still laying unconscious. Nobody knew when he will wake up or if at all. Nobody was an expert and they could just wait to hope for the tiger's fast recovery.

Val started a fire to roast one of the monsters that they hunted last night but not one of them was seen on the ground. He had no choice but to go hunt for another beast, fortunately, they were in a forest full of prey.

It didn't take as much as he thought when he stumbled upon a deer eating. Since this was still in the middle, he didn't dare to underestimate even a deer. He monitored the deer for while to analyze its defences but he was completely wrong.

Val thought a deer would have an impressive defence if it survived in the middle, he did see something impressive but it wasn't a defence. It was its attack, that was high and deadly in Val's mind.

He had watched a bear be ready to pounce on the deer. When the deer saw this, it looked back at the bear almost as if it was looking at prey. Green light shone on these four legs while its antlers shone with bright red.

The second it pounced towards the bear, it had already shoved its antlers into the bear. The bear was unable to react to its speed and thought at least it wouldn't take much damage.

Unfortunately, the antlers shove deep into the bear's stomach, showing him the reality. The deer lifted the bear while its antlers were deep in the bear's stomach. The deer shook its head, tearing the bear's stomach apart. The bear cried in agony before dying in pain.

Val who saw this was almost terrified by it, thankfully he didn't arrogantly believe in his strength and decided to carefully analyze it. Val decided to take the bear that was left on the ground.

At least the deer seemed to not like eating meat, for now. At the time Val was heading back with the bear, it was already evening. Elder Green sparked the fire as he saw Val bringing food.

Val and elder Green started cooking the meat. To pass the time, Val told the terrifying deer he had witnessed to everyone. Everyone's attention was on the deer, everyone was already accustomed to the beast's ability to evolve and especially survive in this forest.

As the meat was ready, Val offered a piece to Raiz. Not expecting him to accept it. Raiz could eat meat without needing to cook but since he gained his humanoid form, he always wanted to eat cooked food again.

Raiz took a bite and immediately took another one. As he thought, food was the best when it was cooked. Seeing the joy on Raiz's face, Aurora couldn't help but be curious if it was that delicious.

She asked for one and Val gave it to her. It was a big bear. There was room for everyone. Aurora took a small sniff and took a small bite from the meal. Unexpectedly the meat was tender, melting in her mouth.

It was delicious to the point Aurora wondered why she never had done this before. Noticing Aurora was enjoying the food, everyone else asked for meat too.

The bear that was big enough to feed 3 families was eaten easily. Brav even felt that another one was needed as he was going to hunt for it but was stopped by the sudden movement of the white tiger.

The white tiger opened slowly his eyes and the first thing that greeted him was Brav staring back at him. The white tiger tried to move but he couldn't as his stomach crumbled from hunger.

" Ahaha, Finally you are awake. Don't worry about your hunger, I was going to hunt anyway. Considering your huge body, we need to hunt lots of them" Brav happily looked at the tiger

" Look who's awake. We get your food for you, buddy. Wait just a little longer " Raiz looked at the tiger, reassuring him, he would be eating soon.

The tiger didn't have the energy to speak and just laid his head back on the ground. Raiz, Brav and Green went hunting for the hungry tiger, maybe some for themself too. The cooked meat was delicious.

Raiz was thinking of seasoning the meat. He had to stop himself from drooling, the thought itself was just that appetizing. The hunt went as they all hunted more than 5 prey each.

The white tiger was happy seeing the delicious food hunted for it. Unfortunately, they decided to cook, having him wait even longer. His stomach grumbled even more.

The aroma of the cooked meat was literally making white tiger drool on the ground. The white tigers couldn't wait any longer and tried to forcefully stand up. At that time, a cloud descended to his side.

" No need to stand, your food is almost ready. Wait just a little longer" The cloud patted the white tiger's head with his cloudy body.

The pat the white tiger received on his head felt good and put his head back into the ground. The white tiger's patience was rewarded as the first cooked meat was given to him.

Thankfully they had hunted many as the tiger was gulping down every beast with 3 bites. The tiger was on cloud nine, he was holding the rich flavour in his mouth. Never in his life has he eaten anything as delicious.

After the white tiger had eaten to its full, others had to hunt 20 more beasts for the tiger to be satisfied with its meal. Moon came next to it and said seriously" I am sure you remember the woman who almost killed you. Do you want to take revenge?"

The white tiger didn't know what was about this cloud but it felt like he was familiar, comfortable as if he had known him for a long time. He answered to Moon " Am going to rip her throat APART. "
