Bianca immediately looked at Magenta who was being held by Alex, she then looked at Rion in disbelief. "You're telling me to fight her? A blind girl? You underestimate me?" said Bianca offended.
"No, I'm not underestimating you at all," Rion said. He tells Alex to bring Magenta closer to him.
Bianca's face changed as her secretary whispered something to her. "So you have a special ability?" Bianca looked Magenta up and down.
"I was looking forward to your gift," Bianca said, smiling lopsidedly at Rion. Rion chuckled, he immediately told Alex to help Magenta get ready.
"Who will hit first?" Rion asked Bianca who was ready with her golf club.
"How about we take a look at your gift abilities first?" Bianca said sarcastically.
Rion nodded his head, telling Alex to pat Magenta on the shoulder to immediately hit the ball. Magenta immediately took a stance, she sighed then closed her eyes, she let her body become light and move on its own. She started hitting golf balls. Paaak! The sound of golf balls starting to fly. All eyes that were there followed the beautiful floating ball.
"Ace," said a caddy guarding the hole.
Rion smiled mockingly at Bianca who was surprised at the caddy's words. She immediately grabbed a golf ball and began to square off. Paaak! All eyes that were there followed the ball that was hit by Bianca.
"Ace," said the caddy guarding the hole again.
Applause rang out from the officers who were there as Bianca got an ace. Bianca smiled mockingly at Rion.
"What if you hit first?" challenged Rion while raising his eyebrows.
Bianca nodded fearlessly. She picked up a new ball, sighed, and took a stance. She focused her gaze, and started hitting the ball. Paaak! This time the voice was louder. Everyone, there was tensely waiting for the result of Bianca's punch.
"Out of the field," said the caddy as she ran for the ball.
Bianca stomped her golf club when she heard that. He was even more annoyed when Rion chuckled while looking at him disdainfully.
Magenta gripped the golf club tightly, she started to pick up the stance and hit the ball. Everyone there, including Magenta, was waiting for the result of the blow.
"Ace," said the caddy.
Magenta sighed, she saw Rion who looked back at Bianca with disdain. Bianca clenched her fists in annoyance.
"I'll hit him first as long as your gift complies with my terms," Bianca said. She smiled slyly after her secretary whispered something.
"Don't let the girl close her eyes when she hits the golf ball,"
Magenta's heart seemed to stop when she heard Bianca's words. Does Bianca know about her powers?
"Of course why not? Isn't that right, Magenta?" answered Ron.
"What's wrong? Why is your gift face so pale?" Bianca asked with a laugh.
"Magenta?" asked Rion who was confused seeing Magenta's pale face and looking dazed.
"Of course, sir," Magenta replied quietly. Trying to fight her nerves, she then turned to look at the golf course and prepared to hit the ball.
Bianca smiled, she then took the ball and immediately hit the ball.
"Not in," said the caddy.
Bianca nodded, she narrowed her eyes as she watched the caddy signal if the ball was about to go into the hole, that meant it wasn't a bad hit. She then looked at the girl next to her who kept squeezing her hand nervously. Bianca chuckled, the girl wasn't going to win over her because she already knew about her strength. Her secretary said that the girl always closed her eyes when she did her stunts. She also closes her eyes when she hits a golf ball. She became convinced that the girl wouldn't be able to make a good hit if she did it with her eyes open.
"Your turn special girl," Bianca said.
Magenta took a deep breath. She took the ball and began to square off. She never goes into action without turning a blind eye, especially since it's her first time playing golf. She clenched her fists that had been shaking since just now, convincing herself that she definitely could.
Braak! A buggy hit a tree making a very loud sound, all eyes turned to the source of the sound. Magenta took advantage of that to close her eyes and hit the golf ball straight away. Bianca quickly turned to Magenta when she heard the sound of a ball being hit. She saw that the golf ball had drifted far away.
"Ace," said the caddy.
Magenta smiled hearing that, she sighed hoping no one would see her if she closed her eyes. Rion looked at Bianca with a lopsided smile because she won.
"Nobody saw her when she hit the ball, everyone was focused on the car," Bianca said disapprovingly, pointing to the slightly burning car in front of her.
"Are you closing your eyes Magenta?" Rion turned to Magenta. Magenta shook her head.
"Even though the punch didn't go in, you still lost, Bianca," Rion said with a chuckle. He points to the scoreboard which says Magenta's score is two while Bianca's is one.
Bianca grimaced at the scoreboard. Rion is cunning, he definitely won't succumb to something like this. "Okay, I admit defeat,"
"Follow me," Bianca said to Rion. She looked away in front of Rion and Magenta while throwing a golf club at her secretary. Her secretary immediately followed Bianca from behind.
"Good job," Rion said patting Magenta on the shoulder. He saw Alex signaling to take Magenta home. He then followed Bianca who was standing far away waiting for him with her arms crossed.
"We're going home," Alex said, taking the golf club in Magenta's hand and tidying up Magenta's equipment.
"Can I go to the toilet first?" Magenta asked, clutching her stomach.
"Of course,"
Alex calls a caddy to escort Magenta to the girls' restroom. Magenta immediately went into the toilet and locked the door from the inside. She took out the cell phone she had hidden in her pants. She texted Henry.
'You're all right, aren't you? I saw you crash your buggy into a tree'
Magenta turned off her phone after she sent the message. She then pressed the flush button so the caddy outside wouldn't suspect her. She was really shocked when she saw Henry get off the buggy that hit a tree. She knew that Henry was working on the golf course but she didn't know that he was working at the place where she would be playing today.
"I hope you're doing well," Magenta said to herself.
Then she came out of the toilet. Caddy immediately brought Magenta to Alex who was waiting for her near the field. Alex and Magenta immediately got into the buggy. Magenta can see that Henry's buggy has been moved but the crash marks are still there.
"You are so great. Are you really blind? You hit really well," asked the woman who had previously escorted us to the golf course, looking at Magenta in amazement.
"That's why Pak Rion recruited him as an employee," said Alex flatly.
Magenta just smiled faintly at Alex's answer, who didn't seem to like the woman's question. The woman immediately fell silent while looking the other way, she must be feeling awkward now. Magenta turned her gaze in another direction, she straightened up when she saw Henry who was being scolded by a man.
"What's that?" she asked while looking at Magenta's standing body.
"I feel very sorry for him, even though he is a very good employee. I don't know why he made a mistake today," the woman said while shaking her head.
"Why did you hit a tree!? And you bumped into him in front of a VVIP customer!" shouted Gery, he grabbed his waist and turned around not wanting to see Henry's face.
"Sorry, for some reason I wasn't focused today," Henry said, looking down. He had repeatedly apologized to his superiors.
"You!" Gery held her hand so as not to slap Henry's face. He sighed, he was so ashamed of Bianca and Rion, the VVIP customers he respected the most.
"If they stop playing here, I'll fire you," Gery said firmly, leaving Henry while continuing to babble incoherently.
Henry raised his head as his boss left far away. He sighed and looked at himself in the mirror.
"You are now at risk of unemployment," Henry said in a pitiful tone.
He then turned and looked at the golf course where he saw Magenta playing, the course was now empty. When he was about to pick up a customer, he saw Magenta playing golf, he was very surprised and stopped the buggy he was driving.
"Don't let the girl close her eyes when she hits the golf ball,"
Henry heard the girl who was Magenta's opponent say that. He immediately saw Magenta's face turn pale. He knew that Magenta's power could only work if she closed her eyes.
"Of course why not? Isn't that right, Magenta?"
He saw a man asking Magenta. He was sure he must be Magenta's boss, Jessy had told him that Magenta worked at the company now. He saw Magenta agree with her boss's words even though she looked nervous. Henry was nervous when he saw Nesa start to take steps to hit the ball. He immediately started his buggy and crashed his car into a tree.
"Ace,"
He smiled when he heard the caddy shout the result of Magenta's punch. He then got out of the car holding his aching hand and head, he was grateful he didn't suffer serious injuries.
Henry opened his cellphone, he smiled seeing a message from Magenta. He didn't expect Magenta to see it, he must be really worried about it right now. He then replied to Magenta's message saying he was fine and put his phone in his pocket. He then walked to his room waiting for his fate which was somehow in front of him.
