He found one under the bed in less than seconds and flung it towards the clock.

It fell down with a thud and Lucas grimaced as Laurel tossed at the sound.

He almost slapped himself for waking her up.

"Morning..." Laurel greeted with a smile. She was half asleep and it was so cute seeing her wake up with a smile. It made his heart throb and he couldn't resist kissing her fully on the lips, ignoring her protests of and breath and something along the lines of it. He could care less.

"Morning." Lucas replied after. She tasted like mint and it was not that bad after all. It was never a wrong time to kiss those plump lips.

Lucas phone rang, making him want to make it become one with the wall. Who was calling him by this time?! He snatched the phone off the night stand. "Speak."

"Boss, it is ready." Trisha said over the phone.
