"Can we shoot it?" Dak froze in front of the window.
"It's still dura-glass." Hector sat down and held his arm up. "It's just a vision drone. It can't do anything to us for now."
"Except report our position to the nearest squad." Tella raised the pulse rifle and used the scope for a better view.
Bless was still tapping the touch screen. He tried to concentrate and ignore the voices and chaos behind him. His eyes flew back and forth. If Citizen were here, she could scan the files faster, but he didn't have that luxury. He felt like he was a kid again, breaking into the grade database in primary school. Information flew past him, forcing him to use his eyes and follow his instincts. Eventually, he'd find the correct port.
He sighed. I've already tried twenty-one different ports.No takers yet.
"We've got company." Tella panned her weapon down a few inches.
"What?" Hector limped over to her. "Where?"
