“We’ll entertain as soon as we get the house set up. I have to reciprocate for the many times I was invited to dinner.” Greg looked at the walls.
“I need to get the painters in, but I don’t want to disrupt your schedule. However, anytime they come the house will smell of paint. Jim suggested three horizontal stripes on the long wall under the high window where the dining table will go. Is that too outrageous for you?” Greg waited for an answer.
Cisco took his time. He looked at the wall then at the picture of the pillows. “Wouldn’t it be better if it had a zigzag at the end, like a heart monitor? I’ve seen that somewhere and it looked nice. As far as the painters go, look for someone bonded and insured and we can go away for the weekend while they paint.”
“Thank you, Sir. That would make it easier. I really like your idea of the zigzag at the end of the stripes.” Cisco put his arm around Greg and pulled him down into his lap.
