Prologue
"This World is a mistake." Kylos said as he brandished the jetblack iron blade. The weapon was clad in shadow. The demon lord of Dystopia had taken over the young prince of Astoria kingdom. "I shall bring an end to this world." He states and proceeds to activate his Final spell that would reduce all living beings to a utter destruction. The demon lord chants—
"That which exits in realm of men, will be denied of its reason. The time hath cometh for the world to know of its sin. With my authority as Lord of Dystopia, I command all souls to perish."
Grand Spell of Destruction – «Absolute End»
As he finished his chant, a small ball of darkness launched to sky. It took form of a dome and started expanding. Every being in it's vicinity started to disappear. Symphia knew of this spell due to her lineage hence she crafted a counter measure against it, a forbidden spell that breaks laws of world.
She didn't have enough power to spread it across the nation so she focused on him– the only person who has been with her since age of 10. The young heir of Blair dukedom. The DUD who couldn't use magic yet he was strong enough to go up against SS rank demon– Ranz Blair.
"Ranz, I wanted to spend my whole life with you but... I think it's not plausible in this life."
Symphia says and makes a cut on her palms with a dagger. She holds them towards the injured man that turned to her. He was puzzled.
"I am witch of darkness. Void is my domain. Manifest that which exits beyond the reality. With drops of my blood, a rift shall split open in this land. My flesh shall be consumed by the dragon of void and with this, his blessings shall protect that which I desire."
After realizing the spell she was chanting, the man's expression changed to grim. He crawled to her trying to disrupt her chanting but it was too late, the difference between them was several meters however her chanting was almost done. He yelled "Wait.... no.... stop.... anything but that.... Don't leave me..."
"The demon lord shall be killed by wrath of void dragon." Ranz reached her but – with a big smile, Symphia activated her forbidden spell.
Forbidden Void spell — «Manifestation of Void's Ruler – Supreme Dragon Emperor, Chaos.»
Her blood that fell upon earth, caused rifts to appear within space. The flesh started to disappear and from rift, an otherworldly being started to come out. The dragon had large nails, his body covered by Black scales. It was large like a mountain. When he flapped wings, the building were blown away.
"To think, I would be summoned in this world." Chaos said and turns his gaze to the man crying while trying to gather the disintegrating body of Synphia.
"I see, so he is whom I need to protect."
Because Chaos was a being of other world, Kylos spell wouldn't work on him. The dragon created void prison to protect Ranz as per his summon condition set by Symphia.
"Kylos huh! No wonder she summoned me." Chaos heads towards Kylos. Shocked by the void ruler appearing in realm of men, the dystopian lord yells – "Chaosss..." "I knew you hated the people of this world but to think you would actually bring such destruction... Kylos, you must be stopped before another world ends." Chaos fired a void ball from his mouth, Kylos threw spears made of shadows but it was disintegrated by Voids property that reduces everything to null. He enchanted the body with shadows and they engage each other in close combat.
The souls were being eaten away by Absolute End casted by Kylos. it wouldn't stop until he is killed and only Dragon emperor was capable of doing it. The battle raged on, causing destruction everywhere.
«Shadows of Ruin» Kylos launched numerous shadows. «Void» Chaos reduced them to nothingness. The powers of destruction collided.
"Chaossss....." Yelling loudly the demon lord lands upon the dragons back by blinding his vision with the shadows. «Shadows of ruination» He stabbed the dragon through back and released the shadows that would destroy his internal organs. "arghhhhhhh!" The dragon yelled in pain as he fell down crashing from the wound.
"Hahaha! nothing can stop me from taking revenge upon this world who killed her." Kylos laughed at his victory. Chaos was disappointed in himself but he looked at the man crying while cursing his powerlessness
"Symphia... why...."
"Era of reign is ended. The contact shall be fulfilled. I command the void of my world to manifest and consume my enemy."
Grand Void Spell — «Absolute nullification of existence – Void Zero» Kylos didn't notice it because of void zero's shape. it was a small ball created in space by Chaos that can't be seen by naked eyes. "Whaa-!!" Unable to understand what was happening, Kylos turned to the dragon who was smiling as he started to disintegrate. "You Damnnn Dragonnnnn....." He yelled but it was too late now. Once hit by void spell one can not escape destruction caused by it.
Regaining what little strength he had, Chaos approached the only man alive in a world without any soul or living beings.
"Ranz...Blair... this world is no more however it's still not too late... The gods have yet to descend upon this world for removal of timeline."
"What are you... talking about?" Ranz asked. He couldn't understand Chaos however the dragon didn't have enough time.
"Listen in this world a certain armament is hidden by ancient civilization, it is called – Chronos, the blade of time." "Chronos..." Ranz couldn't understand everything but he felt familiar with the word.
"The gods created this situation and brought Kylos to prevent mankind from finding this weapon... I don't have enough time... Go and find it than kill yourself with that blade and a time rift will happen." His half body had disintegrated. The Dragon continued before disappearing completely. "I failed to protect her but you must succeed... find a timeline where she is Alive and protect her with everything. Get stronger so you don't experience this... void." The dragon disintegrated.
Ranz was sad but after learning of a possibility of saving his special someone from sacrificing herself.... the man decided to find it before the gods descend upon earth.
