The severed bond: trust between past and present… I still want to trust you (part 1)

With trust, we are able to cherish the sense of belonging and family… with trust, we are able to build bonds of friendship… couple-ship… and family-ship… it is thanks to it that we know the value of those social relations we build-up throughout the paths towards our targets in life..

On the other side…life without trust is gloomy…our paths are tenebrous and murky… standing in front of people asking ourselves whether these people deserve to be trusted or not leads to confusion…lack of decision making in front of urgent matters and issues… moments of confusion invade our lives… misperceptions and low self-confidence chase after us…

Hitherto, between trustfulness and trustlessness, a long way towards the truth…this long way requires patience, wisdom… and more importantly … time.

The fading line that bonded Lu Di and Ka Di was very thin… Ka Di's misperception of the different events that were happening along with his trials to get Lu Di's trust have been demolished because of Sam's behavior… the friend whom he trusted most… walked away with his Lu Di without saying a word…he impacted Ka Di's overall life…

For the Ackmans, Lu Di destroyed the only hope of the Ackmans to make a comeback on the business and the social levels of the country … Ka Di's trial to end his life one year after Lu Di's disappearance created a fear of losing him as they lost the former member of the family… the second son of Korry Ackman, named; Kam Ackman, and the brother of Kothy Ackman who is the eldest son of Korry and the father of Ka Di. Kothy disappeared completely five year ago and Kam is Korry's son whom none talked about… Kam, for some purposes is ignored and erased from everyone's memory… Korry banned speaking about him in the whole country… the real reason is only known among the few oldest people in the four biggest and the richest families of the country: the Sods, Akmans, the Soyons, and DaRi. These families' interwinned past in incomprehensible… although on the surface, they seem to be business partners or competitors.. But their true colors are still not deciphered….

Contrary on the others, Korry did not hate Lu Di… and for some reasons, he was eager to meet her at least once before passing away… yet, in the rendezvous day, she didn't appear.. and his hope diminished in the seconds of seeing Amie in front of him… feeling of disappointment invaded his heart again and affected his physical health… and again for some of the Ackmans, hating Lu Di until the end of the life became a must.

Facing this abyss and all these feelings, the real Ka Di is still not deciphered too. Although the Ackmans cannot understand many of his decisions, they still trust him just because he is the heir of Ackmans and the only successor of the family. That's why his aunty decided to urge his marriage and establish his own family. Janette's proposed Si La as his future partner… Si Da supported her proposition because Si La is her most close and only friend… Again, Ka Di's feelings, opinions, attitudes were kept deep in his heart and shared them with his only friends; Arrey and Jade. He never tried to explain Lu Di's behavior to his family, never talked about her… Along these thirteen years, For the Ackmans, the more Ka Di watches Si La growing with them, the less he speaks of Lu Di... Hence, she is seen as the light at the end of the long black tunnel of his life… if they want Ka Di to heal from the wounds Lu Di and Sam caused, Si La should be assigned as his wife… this was the idea aunty Janette and Si Da always shared, and later the old Ackman came to accept the idea.

Yet, marriage is a matter between two persons; during the school days, three months before the big and tragic accident, Si La confessed to Sam… on October 20th, 2009 on the school bus, Si La openly and to everyone's astonishment confessed to him.. Sam , as usual, had no expression… turned his face to the window.. put his headphones and slept... that day…in the last place in the school bus, Lu Di's cold gazes made Si La freeze… Lu Di's emotionless face made her tremble… everyone thought that it was out of shyness… but only the two knew the story behind this confession and Lu Di's gaze… out of this mess, Si Da shouted " no!! you'll be my sister-in-law!! No… no!! take back your confession"… looking at Lu Di, Si Da repeatedly shouted with these words… and Lu Di turned her face to the window declaring that Si Da is worthless to discuss with her... as she always sees her as a spoiled child. Si La with a timid act took Si Da back to their places… and the confession soon extinguished..
