Before the party

Sunday morning .

Zhang mian came out from shower when her phone rang.

It was her father Zhang Jun.Zhang Mian smile happily while receiving the call.

"hello dad".

"Mian, my lovely daughter,how are you" Zhang jun asked with a fatherly affectionate tone.

Zhang mian pouted her mouth and with a fake angry voice she replied, "after five days finally you have time to call your daughter ". Hearing his only daughter's complains Zhang jun smiled, "mian, my conference has ended yesterday and i am returning to city today evening".

Zhang mian instantly felt happy knowing her father's returning home after one week.

"should I came over to escort you at the airport? "she asked with excitement.

"I have a important party to attend at the evening ,I will go to join the party directly from the airport ". Zhang jun explained her daughter.

Zhang mian's mood dropped immediately,

"so you are going to attend a party first instead of coming home"? Zhang mian asked with little disappointment.

"I want you to join the party with me,I will send my driver to pick up you, I also want to introduce you with some important persons", Zhang jun cleared his intention to her daughter .

Zhang mian didn't want to attend boring business party so she refused her father's offer, "I don't want to attend dad,see you at home ".

Before his father could finish his words Zhang mian hanged up the phone, she felt a little angry at her father.

She was going to put down her phone but suddenly she got another call,it was from He Zen.

He Zen is her personal secretary and also her

childhood friend.

He Zen's father He Sheng was Zhang jun's close friend. At the age of eight He Zen lost his parents at a car accident, from that day Zhang mian's father took him to his home to accompany his only daughter.

The day He Zen entered their house, he and Zhang mian became friends.

He Zen was someone who cared Zhang mian the most in the world and Zhang mian believed He Zen the most.

When He Zen's graduation completed Zhang jun had offered him to join his news channel but He Zen refused, He joined as Zhang mian's personal secretary.Zhang mian was more than happy to get her best friend as her secretary.

Though He Zen was four years older than Zhang mian but she always treated him like a close friend.

Zhang mian received the call,"hello Zen".

"I have a news for you", Zen replied.

Zhang mian arched her eyebrows with curiosity, "Is it about Liu Daniel"? she asked.

"Yes,Liu corporation is holding a party today evening for their new project in Europe and Liu Daniel will be attending." He Zen spoke.

Zhang mian knew that without proper reason He Zen wouldn't inform her about the party.

with more curiosity she asked, "is there anything beneficial for me in this party"?

"yes,your dad is also attending this party " Zen cleared the matter.

Hearing his information zhang mian became happy, "good job zen" she hanged up the phone after giving him complement.

She smiled for a moments then dialed her father's number with a quick finger movement.

"dad I will join the party with you"zhang mian said.

Hearing her sudden change of mind, Zhang jun couldn't help but ask with confusion, "you said that you didn't want to come few minutes ago".

Zhang mian smiled sweetly at her father's question, " dad, i just can't wait to see you, I want to see you early so I change my mind", Zhang mian replied.

Her daughter's replied made Zhang jun really pleased, he smiled brightly.

"okay, I will send you my driver to pick you up, be ready "

"dad, I will go with Zen,you don't have to send your driver.

Finishing her conversation with dad, Zhang mian took out the cheque from her drawer.

There was a beautiful smile hanging on her lips.
