FIRST MEET

As usual, today Roxanne will check her garden cafe first before going shopping. She had to go alone because nobody at home except her. Her twin brother and sister were going to the company because Daddy called them. While her younger sister, she had left for campus this morning. Roxanne's mother is already in the boutique she manages, because she gets a sudden call from one of her employees.

With wide steps, Roxanne rushed to the car garage and pulled out her car. She won't use a driver today, because she wants to drive herself by opening the top of the car so she can feel the cool breeze today. Putting on her sunglasses, she let her loose hair free in the wind. Suddenly, she got a call. She took his cellphone and immediately connected it to her ear using a bluetooth headset.

"Hello, Anne?" greeted the woman across the call, Penny, Roxanne's best friend.

"Yes, Penny. What's up? I'm driving."

"Hmmmm... today I'm very bored, Anne. Can we meet? Maybe hang out at the café or should we just go shopping?" Penny asked enthusiastically at sudden.

"All right. i happen to go shopping after I stop by the café. Get ready, after checking the café, I'll pick you up."

"OKAY!" Penny shouted, making Roxanne grimace a little because of her loud scream.

Today, Felix can get out of the office and spend time with his mother, because there is no work piling up. Said the mother, Joanna, she would invite Felix to the café she loved this afternoon. Actually, Felix wanted to reserve a place in one of the restaurants as usual, but his mother refused. Well, indeed he turned into an obedient man when it comes to his mother like this.

They look more like lovers than mother and son. Made the women around staring at Felix and his mother for a long time, even they whispered in praise of Felix with his good looks and smile. Oh, Felix knows because they can't be said to whisper if their voices can be heard clearly in Felix's ears.

Feeling stared, finally Felix turned and found the women who were smiling sweetly at him, as he had expected. Felix just smiled and raised his eyebrows mischievously. He wanted to approach the group of women and join in the conversation, but he couldn't because he was with his mother. His mother who saw him just shook his head and drank her white tea that had been served.

After riding for 30 minutes, Roxanne arrived at her café and immediately parked her car in the cafe's special parking lot. When she got out of her car, she saw a middle-aged woman, but still looked beautiful standing in front of the cafe. Apparently, she knew the woman.

"Excuse me... ah, Mrs. Valeraine. Very nice to meet you this afternoon." Roxanne greeted when she realized that the woman was a customer who always came in every morning. Not unexpectedly, that she even came in this afternoon and could meet her.

"Ahhh, Ella, it's you. I thought you didn't go here today." answered Mrs. Valeraine who then gave Roxanne a warm hug.

"Ah, I have to check a few things today. Why did you come in this afternoon? Did you come alone?" Roxanne asked, frowning.

"I was rather busy this morning and was only able to meet my son this afternoon. I wanted to talk to him here, so I'm with him now. You know, at first, he refused when I asked him to come here. But, after I said that the owner was a beautiful woman, he immediately obey me. " answered Mrs. Valeraine with her crisp laughter.

"Hahaha, of course not, Mrs. Valeraine. He must obey you because you are his mother and you must have told him that you are my customer, right?" Roxanne answered while taking her arm.

They laugh together while speaking lightly.

"Son!" shouted Mrs. Valeraine when she saw her son coming out of the café. "Come here! She is the owner of the garden cafe I told you about. She's beautiful, right?" she continued with his expanding smile.

Roxanne looks at Mrs. Valeraine looked at. A man steps around after his mother calls. The man smiled in response to the mother.

"Ella, he is my second son, Felix. Felix, she is Roxanne Louella ..." Mrs. Valeraine tried to introduce Roxanne, but her words were interrupted when Felix spontaneously reached out and introduced himself first.

"I'm Felix Jullian Herbert. Nice to meet you here." greeted Felix by lend his right hand.

"Hi, me too. I'm Roxanne Louella Collin, but Mrs. Valeraine always calls me Ella." Roxanne answered with her sweet smile and welcomed Felix's hand.

They shook hands for a long time as if Felix didn't want to let go of that hand. His eyes couldn't get off from this woman's smile. This woman's sweet smile seemed to draw him towards another world and Felix himself didn't want to get out of that world. Even his hands seemed to be magnets with different gravity so as to make the two stick together for a long time.

"And how do I call you, then?" Felix asked, staring at the woman.

"Well, it's up to you. I always have many calls from many people." Roxanne answered with her sweet smile. Again.

DAMN. Why this woman likes to smile.

Her lips seemed to be easily pulled to curling upwards. And that made Felix feel his time and world had stopped. In fact, it seemed, this woman did not feel awkward at all with Felix's handshake getting increasingly hard. Or does she just let them be?

"I'll call you Roxy, then. My Aurore." Felix answered while kissing the back of Roxanne's hand which made Roxanne a little surprised.

Felix smiled sweetly and let go of his hand. He saw Roxanne who was staring at him with the 'What have you done' stare at him. Well, he doesn't care. After all he did it often, and now he wants to do it to the woman in front of him.

Felix's mother who saw it, she just smiled, because she already knew the habits of her son. Her son often teased women, but he never had relationships with women. She knows she should be more strict with her son or make her child aware to find the right woman. However, Joanna only smiled and took Felix's arm.

"Ella, it seems like you guys are acquainted pretty well." Mrs. Valeraine just laughed by emphasizing the word "pretty well" and continued, "maybe, we should have dinner together sometime, or a big family dinner." Mrs. Valeraine continued with her crisp laughter. Apparently, Roxanne didn't hear a tone of questions there, but rather an invitation.

Felix just smiled, but his eyes could not get off from the woman's face. He examined the face of the woman in front of him and looked at her intensely. A thought and a big intention embedded in him right at that time.

"Ah, of course, Mrs. Valeraine. You're the only customer I have overly good. I have to pay for it." Roxanne answered simply. She also didn't know whether Mrs. Valeraine was going to have dinner together or not, so she didn't bother at all.

"Then, I'll say goodbye, Ella. My son still has work to do." said Mrs. Valeraine with her smile and steps past Roxanne to Felix's car.

Wait!

WHAT?

Apparently, the man had just nudged Roxanne's hand, and winked one of his eyes. Roxanne who saw him, spontaneously fell silent and furrowed her brows. Is this man being serious? Did this man just tease her?

Not wanting to worry about it anymore, Roxanne rushed into the café and checked out a few things she had to do. After that, ahe will pick up her friend and go shopping.

Felix accidentally nudged the back of the woman's hand and blinked one of his eyes. That woman is really funny. In fact, she didn't even smile again after he kissed the back of her hand and looked at him strangely.

"Son, get rid of your smile. Focus on the road. Mommy still wants to live a long life." said his mother when she saw Felix who had just smiled by himself with a look as if it was empty and thought of something else in his brain. Oh, right guess.

Felix laughed at that.

"Was mommy serious when we said we were going to have dinner with her?" Felix asked suddenly.

Joanna stared at him mischievously, "What's wrong? Do you want to? Mommy was just joking. But if you want, just meet her and take her home. Or, well, dinner for the two families, maybe." Joanna answered, shrugging her shoulders and laughing in his joke tone.

"What's wrong, Son?" Asked her mother to investigate right after her laugh stopped. Felix doesn't usually ask for dinner with other people or women, even taking women to his house, Felix never does it. Felix didn't answer.

As far as Joanna realized, Felix did have a chance to be with several women for a short time. However, Joanna never took it seriously because Felix himself had never introduced them to Joanna. Felix also said that the woman he always looks with is just a friend or colleague whom he invites as a partner for business and stuff. But this time it's different. Somehow Joanna could feel something tucked inside of Felix.

Suddenly, Felix just laughed and focused again on the road ahead. He will take his mother home and go back to take care of something. Actually, he wants to go back to the café and meet Roxanne. He wants to meet her again. Immediately.
