Chapter 7: the night out

Marc

Marc sees Steve running fast towards the last building in a worried way. he follows Ren, sees the situation between the girl and Steve, before they come out from the place, Marc moves out from the place and hides in the classroom, until they go away.

Marc silently following Steve to the library, he will go to the books rack and take out the book and sits nearer to Jack and Steve as he wants to hear the words.

"Steve it's been an era, where were you been this time?" Jack ask in annoyed tone

"I went to bring you the ice cream." Ren says in playful tone Jack stares to Steve's hands

"Well the thing is, while I was bringing it to you, it had melted and he takes out ice cream stick from his pocket." will be starring with puppy eyes towards Jack, Marc smiles when he listens Steve's words

"Oh god, day to day, you are being like a baby, some time I feel like I am baby-sitting you." Jack says in sarcastic tone

"I think it's better to be my mom, now a days I miss my mom, that the reason I love to tease you the way I tease her." Ren says in playful tone. Jack pats to Steve's head

"First we need to complete the project work, later you can play as you want." Jack says

"Ok, mom." Steve and Jack will be busy in reading books, Marc smiles and moves from the library as he gets a call.

Steve

"J do you know why Marc has been here." Ren says in curiosity

"Don't know...." Jack and Steve say at a time that, "Or else did he find out about our plan....?" 

"No, it shouldn't happen like this, did he put any hearing device around." Ren says in curiosity and looks around and also under the table. Jack hits Steve's head with book

"Have you been watching detective movies now a days, what might be the reason to put such device?" Jack says

"Who knows, everyone will be having their little secrets, I might have you might have, in the same way Marc also might have one." Ren says, as Jack fads smile away from his face, he falls into deep thinking.

"Hlo, J, you usually say to me and now you lost in thoughts." Ren says

"No I was just thinking how to convince Professor Marcus Lewis to help us." Jack says

"Actually I have a plan, will you help me?" Ren says in mischievous tone

"What?" Jack says

"Nothing, you need to keep an eye on him, report me time to time what he does, I will take care of him." Ren says

Jack go to the staff and sees what Marc is doing, soon he makes a call as he will be ready to go to home, Marc will be going out, Jack follows him, and gives update by using Bluetooth which seems like a detective movie.

"ok, I got it, I will take care, come exactly within 10 mins to me." Ren says to jack

Marc will be going to his car, his eyes falls on Steve as he will be sitting at bench by downing his head, the tears will be running out from the eyes (As Ren had used glycerin for the tears) he goes to Steve and sits beside him, soon Ren hugs Marc, starts crying aloud, Ren observes that marc has fallen into his act.

"Little princess, did anyone said anything to you, why are you crying." Marc sounds in concerned way

"I ruined everything, while we were busy in project I accidentally spell the coffee on mine and Jack's laptop, soon we need to submit the project, we got none to help us, and also we were running out of the time....." Marc will be listening carefully until last word, when he hears tears word, "What....!" Marc ask to Ren. Soon Jack comes to them

"Steve I have been asking everyone, no one are ready to help us, I don't know what to do." Jack says, Ren stares Jack in surprising way, before Marc sees both of them, Jack blinks his eyes, as he came up with random thought, Ren adjust himself to the situation, they both starts, holding each other and put an act as if they were really crying in a loud way.

"ok, don't cry let me help you." Marc says in forced way, soon Jack and Steve stops crying and stares to Marc's face in happy way.

"but I have a condition." Marc says in serious tone

Ren raises his eyebrows and looks into Marc's eyes, "What?" Ren says in serious tone

"You need to come to my house." 

Jack and Steve stares each other face in shock, "no why can't you come to my room."

"you said that you don't have laptop, your place is nearer to college if anyone sees, that I came to your place, your project might get rejected as they can guess that i helped you, it takes lot of time, i like to stay in the comfort zone, I don't like to stay in unfamiliar place." Marc says

"It's been...." Ren about to finish the sentence, Jack drags him aside and says as, "don't ruin the things, actually what and all he is saying he has valid point, its better to accept the things." Marc observes both of them.

"ok, fine I agree for your conditions. we are ready for the night out" Ren says, "Then let's reach the home as soon as possible." Marc says in calm tone.
