PROTECT HER

So the next morning, Ning Mei yawned and stretched herself with atmost comfort and then got out of the bed, totally aware of the storm out there. But why will it matter to the person who has herself created it?!

She and Yu Lian got freshed, had a hearty breakfast together and then came out of the hotel to go back home with their chin, shamelessly, lifted high up in the sky. Some people who looked at them and knew them, started to gossip too. Eh, but they couldn't even give a damn!

After Ning Mei reached home, she straight went to her room, avoiding all the 'concerned' looks that she got from her 'loved' and ' caring ' relatives. Of course, her most important priority is to look guilty right now to make her act successfull. And she spend her entire morning locked in her room, reading all the swears and curses thrown towards her in the Weibo. Eating the snacks stored in her drawers and then again looking and scrolling the internet.

It was midday when Yu Lian suddenly called and told her that her parents were asking about her. She said that though they didn't believe the rumors but still they want to hear what Ning Mei has to explain. Hearing this, Ning Mei's heart filled with sweetness. She then said her to say that she didn't remember anything that happened last night. And found herself in an unknown bed, today morning. Ning Mei was sure that Mr. and Mrs Ye will hundred percent belive her.

She planned to say the same thing to Jiming Ge and Grandpa too.. After all, she can't lose them at all. And now all she waited was for Ning Jiming's or Grandpa's message. They were both not here. Ning Jiming was aboard because of some business issues and Grandpa had gone to visit a friend of his in a different city.

After some time, she got a text from Ning Jiming asking about her health and what was she doing. Seems that he didn't get the news yet. And Ning Mei ignored the text. He send many messages after that but all went ignored. She switched off her phone and slept.

When she woke up in the evening, she looked at the time and it was almost time for Ning Jiming and Elder Ning to come back, so she hurriedly ran to the vanity and did some magic with her hands and something called 'makeup'on her face. After the makeup, she looked as of she was moaning for ages! Puffy eyes, red lips and face... In short, the makeup looked amazing for the act. She looked like a horrible looking widow!

Ning Mei didn't have to wait for that long, because she soon heard some noise downstairs. She peeked out of her door and saw that Ning Jiming was back and he looked damn anxious. She bit her lips and threw herself on the bed. Then activated her acting mode and bawled her eyes out.

Time to change her future.

On the other side, at night, after all the drama was over and Ning Jiming booked a flight for Ning Mei and arranged for her accommodation. Gu Yeze got a call from his assistant.

" Hello boss, Miss Ning Mei's family has arranged for her a flight to America. Should I take action? "

Hearing this, Gu Yeze frowned and asked, " What action? " He didn't give any orders, did he?

Wen Xiao was also a little confused. It isn't the first time right? Still he said, "I will take some action, so that she can never come back to the city and pester you again. "

Hearing this, Gu Yeze's body started immiting a hell cold aura. He gritted his teeth and said in a death voice, " Did I order anything of that sort? Don't run your brain uselessly!

Go and send some bodyguards to guard protect her, without her noticing. If anything happens to her, even a scratch, then I will take that brain out of your head, literally. " And saying that, Gu Yeze hung up the call, leaving Wen Xiao stunned.

' What just happened? Its the first time that his boss wants to protect someone and that too a girl!!! Does he like her? Such weird taste? Though she is not particularly ugly... but still... his boss is some heaven's fruit and she is like some mushroom on earth.

Ahh... what am I thinking? Maybe , there is some other reason. '

And he did as ordered.

On the other side, still irked by his dumb assistant, Gu Yeze called someone.

After a few rings, the person on the other side answered , his voice was sleepy, " Yeah... why did you call!? "

Gu Yeze didn't bother to exchange any greetings and straight said to the point, " A girl named Ning Mei will be arriving tomorrow there. Take care of her. If anything happens to her, then you better not expect some good things. " And he again hanged up the call leaving the second person speechless.

'Is that man possesed by some ghost? Protect a girl? Has that man gone mad ? Since when did he start caring about some one?

Anyways since its an order... he shall obey...
