The outcome of the bidding conference was hardly a revelation to Keyon. After signing the contract, he made his exit from the venue and retreated to the rest area. Pushing the door open, he was dismayed to find Alla still lost in slumber. Approaching her, he gently tried to rouse her, only to discover she was deep in unconsciousness. He called out to her several times, but to no avail. Initially, he assumed she was merely asleep, but he soon realized something was amiss. This wasn't mere sleep, but a state of unconsciousness. He hurriedly pulled out his phone and called Lucas.
