Yang Qi

Yawn!

"Another boring day." a boy with handsome looks said as he woke up. He had brown long hair with green eyes and a handsome face.

He was Yang Qi.

"It's now been four years since I have transmigrated to the Daichi world. Everyone here cultivates to get stronger and reach immortality. I was reborn after I died because of old age on earth and as I opened my eyes I was in this 10 year old's body. He did not have any parents or relatives which isn't the biggest problem. The main problem is that he isn't able to cultivate since he was born with shattered meridians."

Sigh.

I guess it can't be helped. Yang Qi thought as he walked out of his small cave abode.

"I'm just going to get some fish for and berries for breakfast."

A few minutes later

"Hmm these berries look delicious."

As he tried a few of them he said "And they are delicious haha!"

Without hesitation Yang Qi picked about hundred of them and put them in a basket where a few other herbs were gathered.

He continued to search for other fruits and herbs but couldn't find anything.

A few moments passed and he sat on a big stone right in front of a big lake.

"I hope I will catch a big fish for today haha." he said with a smile.

Minutes later but he didn't catch anything.

One hour

Two hours

Three hours

"Ahh how long am I supposed to sit here?!" he yelled angrily

Right as he said that

Splash! Splash! Swoosh!

"Oahhh what is that?!"

A big yellow light shot out of the water and was directed at Yang Qi.

"Ahh it's after me!" he ran but was way to slow to get away.

It shot right into his forehead.

He was unconscious for a few hours but then

Yang Qi slowly regained his consciousness but he wasn't in the forest by the lake where he was before.

"Huh? Where am I and why am I in ghost similar shape?"

"That's because you are in your Spirit Sea and not in the real world." a light voice spoke.

Yang Qi began to feel nervous and asked "Who are you? And why are you in my Spirit Sea?"

"Haha I am what is called a Deity. I have long ascended and reached a state in which I couldn't do anything but cultivate to overcome this state and reach the peak. I failed and descended. The lake where you caught the fish is the place where I died and the yellow light you saw was a remnant of my soul which you can see right now."

"And why did you choose me?" Yang Qi asked curiously.

"You? That's easy. Let me guess you can't cultivate nor can you practice any kind of martial arts right?" the deity said.

"Y-Yeah that's right b-but how do you know that?"

"That's because we are the same."

"What do you mean with 'We are the same?' I don't really get that."

"You can't cultivate because you are not normal. You don't not have 'normal meridians' but you have the chaos meridians. Not only can you cultivate faster than normal people you also have, if you train it well, the best understanding of the sword. You can also learn martial arts techniques at a way faster speed than normal people."

"But that isn't the case Mr. Deity, I can't cultivate at all nor am I able to do the things you just mentioned." Yang Qi sorrowfully said.

"Hmm. The difference between normal meridians and chaos meridians is that you have to awaken the chaos meridians. I can see that you didn't know any of this so it's only natural that you didn't awaken the your chaos meridians."

"If I have to awaken my meridians, how can I do so?" Yang Qi asked.

"Today evening you will come to the lake again. When you arrive you will see the same light as you saw before again. It will lead you through the water into a cave where my skeleton is. But besides my skeleton there also is a technique that will help you open your chaos meridians. When you finished awakening your meridians I want to you to take the sword that lies there and practice the way of the sword. Only if you do this you will stand at the peak of the Universe and look down up-on all the living beings."

So I am actually going to be able to cultivate? Yang Qi was happy and surprised at the same time.

"Hm? Boy it was nice to get to know you but it seems like my time is over. I hope that you are able to reach the top and be strongest. But never forget, it doesn't matter how strong you are, you shouldn't mistreat those who are weaker than you. You have to remember, you were weak too."

With that said the soul remnant of the deity slowly began to fade away.

"I will remember your words."

Yang Qi hurriedly bowed down

A few moments later in the Daichi world

"Puhh. I really didn't expect this to happen, but I'm glad it did. I will finally become a cultivator."

As soon as he finished saying this he picked up his basket with the herbs, berries and his fish.

"That's going to be a delicious . . . What?? It's already afternoon? I didn't even have breakfast yet."

"Well I guess I'm just going to make a few dishes to satisfy my hunger."

At the cave abode

Sizzle! Sizzle!

"Ahh this dish really smells good." he said while Yang Qi cooked the fish.

A few moments later

"Mhhm, this fish tastes really good. The next time I should go catch a few more haha."

His smile slowly faded as he suddenly recalled his past.

People treating him as if he was sh*t

Cultivator bullying him because he can't cultivate

He wasn't even able to touch a girl a bit

"Ahhh I'm just four years in this world and it is complete sh*t. I will overcome every obstacle and kill every enemy without mercy!!" he angrily screamed.

"All I have to do is to cultivate well, strengthen my body and to train hard. If I can overcome these things I'm definetly going to be at the top of the world."

A bit later it was finally evening
