CHAPTER 103

After recovering his strength, Orpheus took advantage of the chaotic situation because of the ambush that happened in the underground auction and quietly left the Verdandi Kingdom. Now that he wakes up from his trance, he is now thinking it is not yet the time for him to meet with Ramira again. Using the gold coins he stole last night before escaping the auction, Orpheus rented a boatman to send him to his kingdom.

Orpheus was hopeful that his kingdom will welcome him. Maybe the years he spent suffering were enough for them and they will accept him again. He was already missing his parents and the people he treats as his friend.

But right after he stepped his foot on his original land, Orpheus quickly noticed that something was wrong. Upon checking, he noticed that the whole land had already turned into ashes. The lively land that was engraved in his memories was all gone.
