Ace Wang

"Sir, Mr. Ito has arrived" the receptionist informed Assistant Huang

"Ok send him up to Ms. Lin's office then" Assistant Huang replied before putting down the office phone and knocking on Mei's door

After hearing a hum from Mei, Huang Wei opened the door and said

"Xiao Mei, Mr. Ito has arrived and is being sent up"

Mei stopped working and her hand froze for a second before replying, "ok, bring us some water after letting in Mr. Ito into my cabin"

Huang Wei nodded before walking away while closing the door of Mei's cabin

Huang Wei then went to Kaito who was waiting in his desk area and went up to say "Mr. Ito, Ms. Lin is ready to see you" and turned his body around to show him to Mei's cabin door and opened the door to let Kaito in.

Kaito walked into Mei's cabin and saw Mei sitting at her desk reading a document but what stunted him was that she was really beautiful and young for a lawyer. Though he knew from the news that Mei was young, he didn't expect her to look so young and beautiful. The photos online really gave her no justice.

(A/N: in case you guys forgot her looks from the synopsis here it is! She is very beautiful with her waist-long, black to brown hair, eyes that remind you of hazel with hints of gold and an amazing body with the right curves at 5'6 ft.)

Kaito cleared his throat and said, "Hello Ms. Lin, I am Ito Kaito"

Mei lifted her head once to nod before going back to the document to finish signing it before saying, "Nice to meet you Mr. Ito, as you know I am Lin Mei, or as others call me, Lawyer or Ms. Lin. Please have a seat and we will begin discussing your case"

Kaito nodded and sat on the soft white chair in front of Mei's glass table desk

(A/N: to let readers try to imagine/picture the desk, it has a glass top with wooden light brown/beige thin yet sturdy legs. Better yet I will describe her office to my precious readers. Her desk faces the wall with her swivel chair behind it and a comfortable soft white chair in front when she talks with clients. On the wall to her right which is opposite to the cabin door, there are floor to ceiling windows overlooking the city as her floor sits on the 45th floor which gives her a decent birds eye view of the city's central business sector in Beijing which is the main capital of China. Her cabin's color pallet has the mixture of white and blue shades making the room look very minimalistic and neat. There is also a door on the opposite wall where her desk is that leads to a small bedroom and bathroom with other features to freshen up in)

Mei took another minute to finish up the document she was on before putting her full attention on the man opposite to her. Like explained before, Kaito's looks are very good considering he is an actor. He is wearing a simple blue suit with silver cufflinks and a messy hairdo that does not affect his overall charm and charisma.

Kaito also looked at Mei, who was wearing a white business suit making herself look youthful yet mature with little makeup and a simple chain necklace with a lily charm dangling from the simple thin, gold chain.

Kaito cleared his throat and said, "although you probably already know, but I was framed by those women because I have morals and principles. I would never rape a woman much less rape a mother and daughter pair who are well respected"

Mei, being the aloof and cold person she is, gave off an aloof aura and said, "do you have any proof? Anything that will help prove your innocence?"

Kaito thought for a bit before saying, "though I may not directly have proof, I think I can get someone's help to retrieve it but the only problem is, somehow those two have gotten a really good hacker to erase any conversations we have through messages and phone calls. Although my bro's and I are powerful, it's still the government we are going against, that too a powerful government family who has a lot of connections and though this won't affect to me too much, it's still a bad stain to my reputation and we are not allowed to use our full power since it's at most going to affect my reputation because either way, those two do not have enough evidence to put me into jail. But possibly I can get the person's help but last time I asked, I got rejected because that person is really moody, only accepting when he is in a good mood *sigh* maybe you can help convince him?"

Mei let what he said process through her head before asking, "who is it?"

Kaito replied back, "it is Ace Wang, the Chinese-American famed white hat hacker*. Although he doesn't involve himself in illegal things, all the things he is involved with are in the grey area** so I am not sure he would listen to a lawyer"

Mei paused hearing the name and started daydreaming

- flashback, when Mei was 10 years old -

Little Mei was playing in the garden of the Lin Main Mansion, when her twin, Shang, came with another boy of 10 years old who had both American and Chinese features.

Little Mei, being curious asked, "Shang Shang, who is that?"

Little Shang replied, "first off, stop calling me Shang Shang, I am a big boy that does not match with me ok? Second this is my friend, Ace Wang, who is a friend of mine I made when his family to visit us when you were at Lily's place"

Little Mei, being mischievous, still called Shang "Shang Shang" and Shang, being the indulging "older brother" (by 10 minutes XD ) allowed him but of course on the outside he still insisted she stopped calling him that.

"Nice to meet you Ace! I am Lin Mei but you can call me Mei or Mei Mei just like how I can my brother Shang Shang~"

Ace, being a quiet but smart kid, just replied back in a neutral tone, "hello Mei"

After introductions, the three started playing and running in the backyard, without them knowing their families watching them while smiling and almost crying as the kids don't have many friends because of their status
