Chapter 36: Annetta Felt Disgusted at That Thought 

However, Carla did not expect Annetta to be aware of everything.  

On the day of Lorin's birthday, before Carla left, humiliated, Annetta had placed a tapping device on Carla's clothes when she was smoothening out Carla's dress.  After that day, Carla not only planned to anger Ethan by posting on her Facebook but had also met Caleb and proposed this plan.

Carla had been impatient and had met Caleb that night, which was fortunate. Carla would have changed her clothes before heading to the meeting if it had been any other day, and Annetta would not have known about Carla's plans.

Annetta remained cool and controlled after learning about the plan. She agreed to meet Caleb, just as she had in her former life. She did, however, arrive early and knocked out Carla, who was hiding in the closet, messed up her hair, and laid her on the bed.
