Wang Jiasi & Ye Ruyi (9)

She quickly got a sweater and wore it. She then rushed to the door and opened it. The moment she opened the door, she immediately slammed and closed it.

"Morn--"

The door was slammed right in front of Wang Jiasi's face. He was dumbfounded.

Did he do something wrong?

He knocked on the door and informed of his arrival to her.

"Ruyi, I bought you breakfast. Can you let me in?"

Ye Ruyi faceplamed herself. What in the hell was he doing here in the early morning?! He even bought breakfast.

She then opened the door and gave him a annoyed and tiredless look to him.

Wang Jiasi was confused by the look she gave him. Was she disgusted by him by any chance?

"Morning. Here's your breakfast."

He wanted to come in but Ye Ruyi raised her hand with a stop gesture to him. Wang Jiasi stopped and look at her in confused.

"Thank you for the breakfast. But you are not qualified yet that you can come in my house."

Ye Ruyi smirked but she was grateful for him for bringing breakfast for her. Coincidentally, she's lazy to cook and decided to have bread and drink milk for breakfast.

Wang Jiasi stunned and stayed rooted to the ground. He's not.....qualified?!

Dejected but he knew he deserved it.

"Um...Then, can I drive you to work?"

Considering his offer, Ye Ruyi nodded in acceptance.

Free ride. Who didn't want it?

"I'll wait for you in the car."

"Okay."

Ye Ruyi gave him a small smile. After that, she closed the door.

Wang Jiasi's lips involuntary curled up. Finally, she smiled at him. With a silly smile on his face, he walked away and waited her at his car.

After having breakfast, Ye Ruyi changed into her work wear and went out. She spotted an eye catching car outside and immediately knew it was Wang Jiasi's.

Before she reached there, two men in black approached her and stopped her.

She immediately guarded herself against the two men.

Wang Jiasi saw she was surrounded by two men in black and he immediately got down from his car. He rushed to Ye Ruyi's side.

"Miss Ye Ruyi, our master wanted to meet you. Please come with us."

"Who is your master?"

"I'm sorry. We are not allowed to reveal master's identity."

"Then, I won't meet your master."

The two men look at each other and decided to use 'force' to bring her to their master.

Before they could touch her, Wang Jiasi blocked them. His expression was fierce.

"Didn't she say she won't meet your master? Are you guys deaf?"

The two men in black ignored his words and fighted him. Wang Jiasi had no choice but to fight back.

Unfortunately for the two men, they were not skilled enough to beat Wang Jiasi. In the end, Wang Jiasi took Ye Ruyi's hand and boarded the car.

They drove off immediately.

The two men failed their mission and reported back to their master.

"Thank you."

"It's what a boyfriend should do."

Wang Jiasi was quite delighted as he saved her like a damsel in distress. Maybe her impression of him upgrade a bit.

Indeed as he thought, Ye Ruyi thought that Wang Jiasi was cool just now when he saved her. Her impression of him increased.
