Wang Jiasi & Ye Ruyi (10)

They arrived at the company shortly. Without minding what happened this morning, they worked as usual.

Although Ye Ruyi tried not to think about what happened this morning, she still couldn't help wondered who's the master that wanted to see her.

She just hoped it was not a serious matter to her. She just wanted to live peacefully without any melodrama in the way of her life.

Night comes in a blink of an eye. Wang Jiasi offered to drive her home as Ye Ruyi was reporting to him.

"Sure."

Free ride was what Ye Ruyi was thinking. Wang Jiasi on the other hand secretly clenched his fist in victory.

At least Ye Ruyi wasn't giving him cold shoulders as before.

Outside of the company, Ye Ruyi waited for Wang Jiasi to come by driving his car. Soon after, he arrived and Ye Ruyi boarded the car.

While driving, Wang Jiasi kept glancing at Ye Ruyi which she noticed.

"Keep your eyes on the road. Why are you looking at me? Don't you know it's dangerous to keep your eyes off the road?"

"Sorry. Um....Ruyi, do you want to have dinner with me?"

Ye Ruyi glanced at him. She saw the nervous look on his face. Was she that scary?

She was amused by his expression and her lips curled up.

"Sure. Have you decided where to dine in?"

Hearing her agreed to his request, his lips curled up widely. It's obviously he was happy about her answer.

"Actually, I will cook for us."

"Cook?"

Ye Ruyi looked at him in suspicion. Can he cook?

"You learned to cook before?"

"No. But following the recipe won't be that hard."

Ye Ruyi was speechless. Cooking was definitely hard and it's not easy to cook it perfect.

If he can cook an edible dish on his first try, she might be impressed by him. But, she was not confident about his confidence.

Let's just hope that he won't make an inedible or unrecognizable food.

Soon, they arrived at a restaurant. Wang Jiasi borrow a place to cook in front of Ye Ruyi. It's called a "hibachi-style" cooking.

"I'm going to make an egg fried rice. Are you okay with that?"

"Okay."

Wang Jiasi in his ready position, wearing a chef clothes, looking like a real chef. He had asked the for the ingredients to be prepared for him.

Ye Ruyi sitting opposite him was excitedly and nervously looking forward to his cooking.

Wang Jiasi put some oil first. After the oil was heated, he grilled the meat.

He tried to recalled the the way of cooking egg fried rice in his mind which he had memorized it yesterday.

After the meat was cooked, he cooked the vegetables such as carrots and peas. He carefully cooked it and reminded himself not to burn it.

After that, he cooked the egg. When the egg was cooked, he put it aside. He then poured the rice and cooked it with the meat, vegetables and egg together.

With some salt, sugar, soy sauce and black pepper mixed with together, the egg fried rice was completed with a garnish of spring onion.

"Viola. Bon Appétit."

Ye Ruyi was quite impressed by his skills. She picked up the spoon and eat a spoonful of egg fried rice.

"Wow. It's delicious. Is this your first time cooking it? It's amazing."
