Excalibur

We bolted for the arcades exit and managed to slip by the slow moving army. We kept running until we found the other exit to the mall and we finally thought that we where out of this mess but we where wrong, Ben started walking through the double glass doors of the malls exit and started manically laughing, he looked as arrogant as ever "Death, do you really think I'd leave you be without one of our enjoyable sparing matches? Of course this will be the first time I'm fighting this incarnation of you, please make it enjoyable.". I grit my teeth in anger and shouted "Life this isn't the place for all of this, there are hundreds of innocent mortals that could get hurt!" Ben chuckled and looked at me with pure bloodlust "Oh, well collateral damage I guess." in an instant he summoned his celestial weapon which was a holy sword with a gold hilt and a giant metallic silver blade, tossing it straight at my face. I blocked it with my scythe however it pushed me back past about 6 of the mall shops and caused me to be winded and fall to the ground, in that moment I heard Abbie shout "Jake!" I heard his celestial sword move on the ground and saw it jump up and land straight back into Ben's hands, his weapon mastery was far beyond mine, he could use his life army and he knew how to use all of his celestial powers, I couldn't begin to compete with this big of a strength difference... After I had gotten back to my feet I attempted to use the only power I knew how, Death's Glance, this power allowed me to kill or harm anything I lay my eyes upon, I tried to break Ben's arm or collar bone, but nothing happened. Ben waved his hand, almost gesturing a goodbye, but a tree started growing from the wall above my head, he then sliced his hand downward cutting it by the trunk, I managed to dodge it but as soon as I recovered I looked up and saw something that sent a shiver down my spine, Ben was pointing his celestial weapon at Abbie, and he muttered "I call for you, Excalibur.".
