A world where only body cultivation was practiced. Training the fleshly body till it became unparalleled and unrivaled became the goal of many. Cross was like every normal body cultivator who didn't aspire for much. His story changed when he accidentally swallowed a strange seed that began to grow in his body. This suprisingly granted him divine strength. This new found strength gave him the hope of climbing the top of the ladder ascending the skies like a celestial.

Two months

"Would you stop staring at me like that" Cross uttered smiling weirdly at Firefall.

"Don't you think, you owe me an explanation?" Firefall questioned with a frown on his face.

"I woke up like this" Cross said, and couldn't help but scratch his head awkwardly.

"Can you stop joking. I don't find it funny!" Firefall said glaring at Cross as though he was a prey and he, Firefall was the predator.

"I'm serious!" Cross said. To a certain extent he was saying truth. The only part he refused to say was the black seed, he wasn't even sure about the mysteries behind it, so he wasn't ready to expose its identity.

"Forget about what I did, I managed to get a gold coin" Cross spoke with a bright smile on his face. Even though he worked for several months tirelessly, he wasn't sure he could make up to such amount.

Hundred silver coins equaled a gold coin. He had only managed to make few silver coins which he lost to Riverdawn the previous day. Not in his wildest dreams would he have thought he could suddenly make a gold coin a day after getting robbed.

"Yeah. Not only can you get a good weapon, you would also be able to purchase a matching technique" Firefall's eyes sparkled thinking of how fortunate Cross had suddenly become.

"But, what about the others.."The thought of the other bullies who were even stronger than Little Orange, made Firefall suddenly grow worried.

"I've thought about it. Once I purchase what I want, I would leave to train in the demonic forest" Cross said, with a resolute expression on his face. He knew once news of him defeating Little Orange spread, the others would come find him. For now he wasn't strong enough, so he would train his body hard, with his new strength he believed he would come back to the school stronger than he was.

Firefall stared at Cross, and couldn't help sigh. The lad had a really hard life.

He had tried his best to help, but it always seemed futile, his father was a high ranked elder in the school, so he had access to enough resources, but his talent was not too good, so his father didn't care much about him. Although his life was not sailing smooth, he was still far better than Cross.

In few breaths they had appeared before the Weapon Pavillion. This time there was no one to stop them, as they smoothly entered the Pavillion.

Inside the Pavillion. Rows of weapons were arranged in every space and corner possible.

Swords, sabers, daggers, spears, darts, any weapon you could possibly think of.

Cross and Firefall looked around with bright eyes. This place was like heaven to body and martial cultivators.

After admiring the scene, they walked towards the section which had axes and other heavy weapons.

Cross stared at multitudes of Axe and couldn't help but feel pity for himself. He had really deprived himself by using the old and rusty axe that could barely do any harm to the tough skin of demonic beasts.

His eyes suddenly landed on a purple axe that exuded a strange and antiquated aura.

The handle of the axe had a tag with number '50' painted in silver, hanged to it.

"This is the one!" Cross didn't bother to look at the others anymore, he was alredy attracted to the appearance of the axe.

He abruptly stretched his hands to pick the axe, afraid that someone would suddenly have their eyes on it.

"Brother, why don't you leave the axe for me, i suddenly have interest in it" A young man who emanated a calm demeanour walked towards Cross has he uttered.

A frown couldn't help but appear on Cross's face, as he stared at the lad who spoke. Although he didn't know who the young man was, but staring at the brat standing behind the latter he could easily tell who he was.

"Are you so shameless Orange that you even brought your brother here" Firefall said glaring at the pale-faced Orange who had his injured arm wrapped in special clothing that looked like bandages.

"I'm sorry, but I got here first" Cross uttered and proceeded to grab the axe.

"Why don't you think about it again" The young man spoke with a calm and bright smile on his face.

"And if i don't?" The frown and displeasure on Cross' face couldn't help but grow.

"You are free to reject. I would just like to test your strength" The young man spoke with a smile still on his face.

"I'm not interested! " Cross could already tell they came here for trouble, he didn't overestimate himself. The strong confidence emanating from the latter was enough message to Cross that he was no weakling.

"You dare reject my brother's offer, do you think you have a choice" Little Orange who had been quite all this while suddenly spoke coldly. He had lost his gold coin to Cross, and he was pained seeing that the latter was using his allowance to purchase weapons.

"Little Orange, it's not in your place to talk" Cross said mockingly.

"You..!" Orange said angrily but he could only swallow his words.

"It's fine. I see you like bets a lot, if you win i would purchase a middle rank human martial technique for you, but if you loss I would break your two arms" The young man spoke with a innocent smile, but it couldn't hide the arrogance in his voice.

Cross' eyes sparkled, he didn't know the strength of the young man, but he could easily tell he was no weakling. The allure of the middle rank human martial technique was too great, even a gold coin could not purchase one. He would have backed out before, but now he had something he could rely on.

"Prepare my middle rank human technique, I will be coming for it in two months!" Cross spoke and then picked the axe.

Cross didn't bother with them again, as he raised his feet to leave their presence. He stared at the stupified Firefall, the latter immediately understood, as he walked along with Cross.

"Prepare your arms too brother!"

Cross didn't bother to reply as he walked towards the counter, where he would pay for the axe.

"It seems he is not only greedy but also blind" Orange snorted as he stared at the distant figure of Cross. He could already imagine Cross's bloody arms two months from now.

"Spread the word, I would be having a match two months from now" The calm young man spoke raising his feet to leave the Pavillion.
