This suprisingly granted him divine strength. This new found strength gave him the hope of climbing the top of the ladder ascending the skies like a celestial.

"Cross, what have you done!!" Firefall yelled at Cross not bothering about, the weird gazes people were giving him.

"Do you have a death wish, do you know who that was?" Firefall gritted his teeth in anger as he stared at Cross.

"Who is he?" From the angry and serious expression on Firefall's face, he could tell that he seemed to have done something stupid.

"He's named Yardstick, one of the best talents in the outer court, he is fifteen just like us. He unlocked his seventh body starpoint few days ago!" Firefall spoke loudly as though he wanted to speak right into Cross' brain.

"Ohh" Cross muttered slightly. Unlocking body starpoints was breaking the limits of the body. The body had nine body starpoints, and they were separated into three tiers. The lower tier consisted of the first three body star points, the middle tier had the next three body starpoints while the peak tier consisted of the last three body starpoints.

The lower tier could only pratice low human martial technique, the middle tier, middle human martial technique and the peak tier, high human martial technique.

So Yardstick who just unlocked his seventh body starpoint could already pratice high human martial technique. Even with the wide gap in strength, he still didn't feel fear, he believed with his new speed of cultivation he could unlock more than one starpoints in two months.

"Firefall I need your help?" said Cross solemnly.

"You need my help!" Firefall's eyes brightened as he stared at Lee, it felt like he had suddenly forgotten about the issue of Yardstick. He couldn't be blamed as Cross barely asked for his favour even if he was always willing to help the latter.

"I need an axe human martial technique at the middle stage" Even if his body had evolved, he didn't believe he could win Yardstick with his weak and crude martial techniques.

"Simple. My father gave me access to some martial techniques. Let's go to the martial Pavillion!" Firefall said as he happily dragged Cross.

The martial pavillion was similar to the weapon pavillion, the only difference was that martial techniques was sold in one and weapons was sold in the other. Cross had spent fifty silvers for the axe and he was planning to get a low human martial technique with the remaining coins, but life sometimes, don't always go as planned.

They quickly entered the Pavillion. The sight inside the Pavillion didn't quite intrest them as this wasn't there first time in the pavillion, but still it was a magnificent view.

The Pavillion had three sections; the low, middle and high. It was in accordance to the human marital techniques rank.

The walked towards the middle section and began to search for axe martial techniques.

It took them few breaths before they found techniques related to the axe. They were just few scrolls, compared to numerous techniques for swords, sabers and spears.

Cross searched through the scrolls and he found two which caught his interest.

One was Heavy meteorite axe technique. It made the axe as heavy as a meteorite, which was just an exaggeration from the creator of the technique, nevertheless, it still doubled the weight of the axe. Although Cross liked the fact that it made the axe more dense, the technique was too crude, it had no attack pattern, all it did was make the axe heavier. It could only be used as a support technique.

The other one was called Destruction cycle Axe technique. The technique multiplied the power of every strike. It gathered momentum and doubled the strength of each strike. The highest amount of attack a body cultivator in the middle tier could unleash was eight, which was the limit their body could handle, but it didn't mean the limi could not broken.

Cross immediately decided. He choosed the destruction cycles axe, but he still had the heavy meteorite axe technique in his mind, he would surely come back for it.

Cross picked the destruction cycle axe, and the duo walked to a corner in the middle section where a elder was seated.

"Good day elder" Cross and Firefall politely greeted as they approached the elder.

The elder didn't reply but only nodded. Cross handed the destruction cycle axe scroll to him.

"Ten gold coin!" The elder didn't stare at the duo as he coldly spoke.

"Elder, here" Firefall uttered as he brought out a tailsman plated in gold.

The expression of the elder suddenly brightened. Anyone who could possess such a tailsman was surely not an ordinary person.

"Be careful when practicing this technique" The elder spoke as he passed the scroll back to Cross.

Seeing the change in the Elder's attitude, Cross couldn't help but sigh, it was obvious the elder was moved by the tailsman in Firefall's hand.

"What's your name?" The elder asked staring at Firefall. He wouldn't have normally bothered with Cross, but since he was a friend to the lad who had a gold tailsman, he wanted to appear in his good books.

"Firefall" said Firefall with an expressionless face.

A frown suddenly appeared on his face. He seemed to have heard the name before.

A glint of understanding suddenly flashed across his eyes.

"You can leave now!" The elder spoke coldly and didn't bother looking at them again.

Firefall didn't feel suprised as he and Cross walked out of the Martial Pavillion.

"Thank you brother" Cross uttered as he stared at Firefall. He also was not suprised by the elder's attitude. Only the talented were respected.

"Why do you have to thank me. We are brothers right?" Firefall stared at Cross with a questioning gaze.

"Yes we are" Cross chuckled as he gently tapped Firefall's shoulder.

"My father paid a price to make me Elder Longsaber's disciple, and i must not dissapoint him. So I would be cultivating hard" A fierce expression appeared on his face as he spoke.

Cross smiled as he stared at Firefall, the best thing that had happened since the death of his parents, was having Firefall as friend.

"I would be taking my leave now!" Cross uttered. Firefall nodded in response and like two parallel lines they walked in different directions.
