Champions Navi (part 1)

The next morning we flew back home and I took a somewhat reluctant Rob back to his rehab in patient care facility. I hadn't slept a wink last night, but Rob hadn't been as lucky. He found out that Helena was a devout Catholic that night as they talked a bit about themselves before going to sleep. He and Helena had both slept well and seemed to still really like each other the next day.

Rob had told her of his circumstances last night at the hotel and she had made promises with him of future dates when he was released. She also planned to visit him from time to time while he was in rehab. All in all, Rob had more to look forward to now and his mental and physical health seemed to change for the better each day.

As for me, Barbara had told me that the other man that she liked was King Moonlight. She was surprised to see that I wasn't affected by it or even jealous, but she probably just chalked it up to me thinking it was Hero idolization or something. The realization that she likes both versions of me made me consider telling her I was both people, but I would have to think on it a bit more first. She had kept Batman's identity and others so I doubted she would ever tell anyone mine, but there was no rush currently. 

After dropping Rob off at the facility, I was contacted by my good friends Telos, Sodam, and Lola. They were arriving a bit earlier than I expected today. I wanted the league to meet them with me on arrival at first, but then I thought about it and decided it was best to surprise them at the tournament. 

Sensing their approaching ki signatures I flew up in front of their ship and guided them down to moonlight city where they landed their ship in front of my castles front yard which was big enough to hold at least four of their ships. Their ship was safe here, nobody would mess with it.

Amazo, my Disciples, the girls, the twins, my castle knight Kryl, and Jeff the landshark were all present in the front yard as we watched the hatch slowly open revealing three powerful Daxamites who to my surprise looked a lot different than I remembered. After looking around at the people who greeted them, Sodam looked at me. "Surprised huh? A lot has changed, but we had kept a few details to ourselves just so we could see how you would react when you saw us again. As you can probably guess, nobody is my match these days, not even you." 

The Sodam in front of me appeared to be some kind of odd looking green lantern. The surprises didn't stop there either. His attitude seemed a little different than I remembered. His words came off as a little cocky, almost challenging me. I tried my best to ignore him looking down on me and reminded myself that he was here for the tournament and we would have our fight sooner or later. 

Telos walked up to me as he rolled his eyes and spoke. "With great power comes great ego apparently. Sodam has become the new Ion for the green lantern corps if you were wondering why he was acting so pompous." 

Sodam crossed his arms in front of himself. "You only say that because since I've obtained this power you have not won even once against me." Telos could only continue to roll his eyes at Sodam's words. "One day I'm gonna knock that cocky smirk off your face, I also am getting stronger each day you know?". 

Although Sodam was a bit more cocky than I remembered, my friends were still the same to some degree and were good people. According to the information I had received from Telos before, Sodam had been through quite a lot with his xenophobic father and fellow species. This change in attitude was probably from more than just his recent power up. 

Lola was the last to exit the ship and stand beside her old crew mates. Seeing everyone out of the ship I spoke up to the people behind me. "Everyone, these two guys that are constantly fighting each other are my little brothers and the woman in front of me is my little sister. Please show them around. Id love to stay and do it myself, but unfortunately I have a prior engagement that can't be put off." I then turned to Lola and her former crew that I had just been talking about. "I hope you three aren't offended by my lack of curtesy. I am truly happy to see you guys and to welcome you to my home."

Lola laughed and patted me on the back. "You are a King and Hero on this world, we know you are a busy man. We will see each other later sometime. It is no problem to us. I'm eager to explore your Castle anyway."

Hearing her words, I nodded and then looked back at Kryl. "Show them to their personal rooms and make sure they are comfortable. I have given them access to every room except for the prison, vault, and others personal rooms. 

Kryl without missing a beat led the way for our new guest as I made my way to my new shop that was waiting for me to open it. Supergirl, Otho, and Osul all followed me while the rest went back into the Castle to resume whatever they were doing before I called them out. When we arrived, I looked at the small shop in front of me and smiled. It was small, yet dazzling and mysterious. 

The shop had an ancient Greek architecture style with a big plaque above the doorway that said 'Champions Navi'. To the side in the front of the building was an 8foot marble statue of myself as King Moonlight. It was my first time seeing it after I had it commissioned by a local artist.

It looked great aside from the fact I asked the artist to leave the statues eye sockets empty so it was currently without eyes. Reaching into my systems inventory I pulled out a pair of eyeballs I had made in the actors wardrobe in my free time. They looked just like mine aside from also appearing to be marble and they even had the electricity effect my own had. The best part was that I added an effect that would make them lock on and follow any person that was walking into the store or that approached the statue. Whoever was closer would be targeted. 

I quickly pushed the eyes into the socket holes and then unlocked the stores front door and walked in with my three guest behind me.
