Under This Beautiful Moonlight

"Done.” Syanja smiled as she finished the decorations at the beach. “Thank you, Seo-Jin.” She glanced at Seo-Jin, who also finished his work. “No problem, Syanja.” He smiled and patted her head before taking out his phone. “Let me tell everyone about the location. Jung-Hoon must be worried about you.” Syanja nodded at him and turned her gaze on the decorations, a small smile curved on her lips which was looking magical in the moonlight. Seo-Jin shook his head and went away to talk on the phone.

Jung-Hoon was staring at the wall clock impatiently. His friends were also worried about Syanja. They didn’t see her all day. “She will be fine, Jung-Hoon.” Ho-Jim said, making him pissed off. “No, it is all my fault. I ignored her last night, and she went out telling us.” Jung-Hoon’s gaze landed on the floor as he let out a sigh. U-Ram joined them after talking with Seo-Jin. “Let’s go. We have an important meeting.” He said out of the blue, causing all of them to flinch. “But, what about Syanja? Jung-Hoon sadly said. “We will find out about it later. Let’s go. We are already late.” They nodded at him. “Are you coming?” Ji-Ho asked Ji-Sui, who was using her mobile didn’t care about anything. “No.” She answered him, simply ignoring him. Hyun-Tae gritted his teeth but stopped as Ha-Yoon held his wrist. Hyun-Tae sighed and walked out of the house.

Syanja was playing with a balloon waiting for Jung-Hoon impatiently. Her eyes lit up when she heard a car horn. Syanja smiled and ran to the place. Jung-Hoon’s eyes widened, seeing a beautiful decoration in front of him. His heartbeat increased. He glanced down and a small smile appeared on his lips when he read. (I Am Sorry My Bunny) Jung-Hoon chuckled and shook his head. He glanced up and there were a lot of balloons. Then his eyes landed on a sorry cake. He stepped close to the table and took a letter, which was on the cake. He read it. “Turn around.” His eyebrows frowned and looked back. Syanja was standing with a bouquet of flowers. “I am sorry.” She whispered, making Jung-Hoon’s heart flutter. He shook his head as Jung-Hoon remembered how much he was worried about her. His gaze turned dark and glared at Syanja sharply.

Syanja took her step back when she saw him glaring at her. “YOU THINK IT’S FUNNY?” He yelled, causing her to flinch. The bouquet of flowers fell on the ground and tears filled up in her eyes. “I-I” she stuttered, her heart pounding so fast. Syanja immediately gazed down because of fear. “WHAT YOU THINK? WHO ARE YOU? ARE YOU STUPID? WHO GO OUT ALONE IN A UNKNOWN PLACE?” Jung-Hoon was continuously scolding her. Syanja closed her eyes tightly. She couldn’t handle it anymore. She wanted to run away and hide somewhere. Everyone rushed to them as they heard Jung-Hoon was not stopping. Hyun-Tae’s eyes softened as he saw Syanja again in the same condition. Ho-Jim noticed something was not good. Hyun-Tae and Ho-Jim went towards Jung-Hoon and held his hand. Hyun-Tae signed him with a finger to look at Syanja. Jung-Hoon’s eyes widened as he saw her trembling badly. He felt guilty and immediately rushed towards her. Jung-Hoon was about to touch her, but stopped when Syanja said something unexpected. “D-don’t touch me.” She turned around and ran out of there. “What have I done?” Jung-Hoon whispered. “I don’t know. Whenever someone yells, she always starts behaving like that.” Hyun-Tae’s state shocked everyone. “What?” Ho-Jim asked. Hyun-Tae nodded and continued. “When I scolded her, remember? And when dad did the same, and now Jung-Hoon. I think she didn’t like someone raising her voice on her.” Ho-Jim nodded as he understood the condition of Syanja.

Syanja was sobbing badly. Her breath hitched because of sobs. Someone sat next to her, causing her to glance at him. “So, a strong girl like you is crying?” Jung-Hoon’s eyes meet with her teary one. She immediately maintained distance while moving away. “G-go away.” She said in sobs. Jung-Hoon’s heartache seeing her crying massively. “I-I don’t like them w-who don’t know h-how to control anger.” She sobbed harder. “Hey, Hey relax.” He pulled her into a warm hug, but she didn’t try to move him away. Syanja was already tired. She let him do what he wanted. “I am sorry, okay? I am a bad bunny.” Syanja chuckled, causing his eyes wide open. “I didn’t know that you have another talent, laughing while crying.” His state made her cry more. “Omo, I am sorry, okay? Now please relax. I am guilty of what I did.”

Jung-Hoon shook his head as Syanja softly snore. “This girl.” Jung-Hoon smiled and patted her head before pulling her more close to his chest. He carefully placed her head on his lap. Jung-Hoon trucked her hair behind the ear and smiled. “You are the most beautiful girl.” He pecked her head softly and turned his gaze on the moon. “Beautiful.” He muttered.

“Yeah, they are beautiful.” Hyun-Tae smiled and turned around to join his friends, who were grilling steaks. “Yaahh, come here Hyun-Tae.” Seo-Jin called him. He nodded and ran to them.

Ji-Sui opened the door and smiled brightly as her eyes met with her boyfriend. “Tae-Min.” She hugged her tightly and took him into the house. “Don’t worry, they are not home.” Tae-Min nodded and sat on the couch. “So, you are doing well?” Ji-Sui understood what he was talking about and she nodded her head with a small smile. “Good baby.” He pulled her into a hug and patted her back. “But why are you doing this?” She questioned. Tae-Min’s eyes darken, he gasped her hair and pulled her out of the hug. “Who are you to ask me about my plans? She yelped in pain and closed her eyes. “I-I am sorry.” Tae-Min pushed her away harshly. “Good.” He heaved a deep breath and sighed.

Jung-Hoon placed his hand on Syanja’s cheek. He caressed it with his thumb. “Wake up, it’s getting cold.” Jung-Hoon whispered into her ear. Syanja moved a little and hugged his waist tightly, burying her face in Jung-Hoon’s belly. Jung-Hoon felt ticklish. “Hey, Syanja, you are tickling me.” Syanja opened her eyes half because she was sleepy. “What happened?” She whispered in a deep voice, causing Jung-Hoon's heart to pound. “Let me sleep.” She said and closed her eyes again. “B-but.” Syanja glared at him, causing him to stop his words. He nodded and waited for her to fall asleep. After a few moments, she fell into a deep sleep. Jung-Hoon let out a sigh and took her into his arms and made his way to everyone. “Look, there are them.” Ji-Ho said teasingly, making Jung-Hoon roll his eyes. “Wow, lovey dovey.” Seo-Jin laughed as he complimented them. “She is sleeping.” Jung-Hoon smiled and glanced at her softly. “Take her to the tent.” U-Ram suggested. Jung-Hoon nodded and took her into the tent. He placed her on the mattress. Jung-Hoon caressed Syanja’s cheek and smiled a little. “I love you.” He whispered and walked out.
