**Catlyn Ollivander**
"Miss Catlyn!" Cimsy cries, their massive eyes wide as she somehow Apparites on top of me.
"Is Miss hurt?" an unreasonable amount of terror seeped out of her voice as she Apparites right next to me on the bed.
Shaking my head no, I frantically grab my notepad, fear of Cimsy crying fuelling the speed of my writing, 'No I was hurt but now I'm fine. Where did you hear that?'
She Apparates to the foot of my bed, the fear on her face is quickly wiped away by a prideful smile, "Cimsy remembered her punishment and was awaiting your arrival. When Miss Catlyn didn't come Cimsy became worried and came to every room until Cimsy found Miss Catlyn."
At the mention of Blood, I can feel my fangs begin to itch behind my mask. Why am I still hungry? I just had blood a little bit ago. How many rooms did she pop into before coming here? My hunger moves to the back of my mind as Cimsy Apparites right next to me, catching me off guard. Why does Cimsy keep on Apparition? On second thought, how can she? Doesn't Hogwarts have a charm or barrier that prevents Apparition on school grounds? And House Elves can use magic? I thought that because it's illegal for a House-elf to have a wand that they couldn't. Then again, she isn't holding a wand so she isn't breaking any law I can think of.
'Thank you Cimsy, you did a good job! Can I have the blood pack?'
Beaming at my praise, she reaches behind her only for those massive eyes of her to widen. Tears began to well up in her eyes as she looked up to me.
'It's fine, I wasn't hungry anyway,' rubbing her head, I try to seem as calm as possible as I do everything to not have to handle a crying Cimsy.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything," the white-haired professor squeaks, poking out of the massive double doors. The doors made him only seem shorter as he strides over to me. I turn my head to look at Cimsy only to not be able to find her anywhere.
'Not anymore I suppose,' I shrug as he stands next to me.
"Why are you in the hospital room?" his question only confuses me as I stare at him. Doesn't he know? I know that the staff meeting already happened because Madam Pomfrey had to leave in a hurry. Does he not know I know about the meeting? I explain to him what happened as he sits there patiently.
"I know you didn't sleep with your housemates last night," his comment leathers fear into me.
The light chuckled at my body visibly tensing up only slightly eases my worry, "Don't worry, you're not in trouble. I just want to know if you want to sleep with your housemates."
'I don't think I should. Even if I stay, I don't want to put others in harm's way by living with me. Even then I don't want to disturb their sleep,' He nods understandably at my words, slightly tensing his jaw at my last sentence.
"Madam Pomfrey?" At his call, Madam Pomfrey pokes her head out of her office.
"What is it Filius?" Her soft voice responds.
"I was inquiring if I could bring your patient somewhere?" His voice held hesitance as if he was bracing himself for the answer.
"Absolutely not! She has gone through too much mentally and physically today. She needs rest," shock as much as displeasure rings in her voice.
"I will take a blood packet just in case and know the spell to give her magic. I will bring her back before curfew." Why does this feel strangely similar to a boyfriend asking his girlfriend's father if he can take her out on a date?
"Even so-"
Her words are cut off as Professor Flinkwick gives her a pleading look, "Please Poppy, it's important."
"Be quick," Defeated, she walks over to the other end of the hall to tend to the injuries of a boy who came in before me.
"Can you stand on your own? I have something I want to show you," he asks, offering a spare uniform as he tries to hide his pleasure from winning the argument as he offers a hand. Nodding, I take the uniform from him and close the curtain around my bed.
Sliding out of the hospital gown and into the uniform, I open the curtains as Cedric hands Professor Flitwick a blood pack. Trying to ignore the elephant in the room, I fiddle with my, now unstraightened, hair as I move to Professor Flitwick.
Sharing a silent nod with him, he leads me out of the room only to stop at a window. Brow furrowing, I watch in curiosity as he knocks on certain panels of the window. Each nock admits a pleasant chime until they start forming a melody. Professor Flitwick steps back after repeating the melody, only for the chimes to continue. Slowly, the melody begins to speed up until they all chime at once. Plugging my ears at the loud sound, a clap appears in the middle with a glow.
"The music mirror. It's the quickest way to the Ravenclaw hall to the Hospital Wing I know of. You need to play a melody, a good one, on the window pains. It's a tricky one considering that once you play one on it you need to play the same one every time you want to use it," he smiles as he turns to explain it to me.
'Why is it called the music mirror if it's a window?' I ask.
"Each shortcut is named by the first Ravenclaw to discover it. The student wasn't good at naming things would be my guess," he explains as he unclasps the windows. As he opens them, nothing happens. No wind, no sounds of nature, it's as if he never opened it.
Grinning, Professor Flitwick crawls onto the ledge. Panic hits me as I rush to him. Without care, he takes one step and disappears. Looking down to try to see his fall, I'm somewhat relieved to find nothing.
Sighing, I make my way onto the ledge as I look down to see the ground way below. It's not like I have much to live for anyway, is my last thought as I close my eyes and take a step out of the window.
This was posted on April fools so if you want to read that version it's Auxillary chapter 2. To be fair, it didn't change much except for an added paragraph at the end. I didn't plan on doing something but this just fell into my lap. I just found out that you don't get a power ranking until the stories rated. This happens after 10 reviews so if you want this story to reach more readers then don't forget to review, I take constructive criticism to heart and appreciate it when people give me it.
