I didn't expect myself to be in front of who would've been my senior, interviewing them for a position in the place I work. Yet there I was, with a clipboard and pen, listening to Coco-san as she answered my questions.
It was standard procedure, nothing out of the ordinary from other interviews.
I guess neither of us wanted to say goodbye just yet though since after the interview we ended up chatting in the office.
Although I knew some things that were happening in Hololive after I left, I didn't know much about the other generations apart from the one I was briefly a part of.
According to Coco-senpai, things were running smoothly for everyone even with all the problems the company's been facing. However, it seemed that things were finally catching up and Yagoo decided to give everyone some time to relax and judging from what I saw earlier, he needed it as well.
I told her that everyone was free to take a day off and go into the inn, but apparently, Yagoo was looking for a much more indefinite solution to keeping everyone away from work. He and Kyrell probably had a chat during our interview.
During our chat, I asked Coco-senpai why she decided to graduate. She didn't really go into details, but she said she just wanted to go a different path and didn't regret the decision she made.
Kyrell may have begun to rub off on me, because I could tell there was more to it than just that. But it was best that I didn't ask anymore and decided to wait for her to tell me instead.
It's a shame though since Coco-senpai was loved by many, she was the biggest influence Hololive had in bringing overseas viewers. To see her leave would definitely make a lot of people sad. But Coco-senpai is a strong dragon, no matter what, she moves on in stride.
After we had caught up, I decided to lead Coco-senpai back to the lobby where I informed her that she'll get her email soon. She said she couldn't thank me enough for the interview since she didn't plan it, but I told her it was fine and that it was a good thing since the inn was slightly understaffed. Perks and problems of being hidden to many.
I said goodbye to both Coco-senpai and Yagoo then made my way into the town to find Kyrell.
Over the course of my stay, I've gotten to know the town and its townsfolk. Very nice people, they would always greet me with such soft voices, accompanied with kind smiles; if they had a shop, they'd also toss me a small snack. It has gotten to the point my pockets were once full of nothing but sweets and biscuits since everyone just wanted to give me food.
The scenery wasn't half bad either in the quaint little town. While the forest where the inn stood was calming, the town was full of life yet remained just as tranquil. Sure it didn't have a beachside scenery, but seeing everyone just get on with their everyday lives was still a delightful sight.
I eventually reached Kyrell's location, he was in front of the local information office that provided tours around the town and other tourist spots outside. He was chatting with one of the tour guides, and it didn't take a genius to know the conversation was about how the inn would relay information to our guests regarding the tours. It happened in winter, so it will definitely be the same for summer, probably more so.
After they finished their conversation I walked up to Kyrell and asked him if everything was alright. He said everything was fine and sorted.
With time on our hands, we went around town for a leisurely walk, chatting about the days we spent together in the inn as well as whatever future may hold for us.
Guess who forgot to publish again? That's right, me.
No big stuff this week, just a little catch up between Coco and Aloe. Hope you enjoyed the brief interaction.
That's it, I hope you all enjoyed this entry and I'll see you all next time.
