Entry 13 - Welcome back, big lizard (Kanata)

It was finally the day, I've been waiting for this and so have the others. When that idiot told me she got a job outside the city, I was glad. I mean I wasn't worried since it's her, but when found out she had to move I was honestly a bit heartbroken. Not that I would ever tell her that.

But it's true I have missed her, it's been lonely in our apartment and she usually really livened things up.

I was going to enjoy seeing that big girl's face after some time. If only it was that simple, because the moment we made it to the dorm she wasn't even there to show her face!

When we asked the others, apparently she went on a delivery run and wasn't coming back until evening, so we were all pretty much stuck waiting for her in the dorm. It wasn't too bad though, we wasted the time by playing some games with the others and listening to everyone talk about how they managed to wreck the entire place 3 times in under 6 months, 2 of those were from Shion-senpai apparently.

Anywho by the time we managed to see Coco it was already getting dark and the others were getting worried they might not meet her, but luckily that wasn't the case as she came landing in her dragon form in front of our door.

The moment she turned back to a human the others quickly jumped at her, bawling about how much they missed her.

Honestly, it's like watching children cling to their parents. But I can't blame them, Coco has done so much for everyone, she has really made us strong and was the one who really taught us that we didn't need to be perfect to be accepted, that we didn't need to compare ourselves to others, that we were just fine being ourselves to grow as a group and as individuals.

That much alone is more than enough reason for them to glomp her like they haven't seen her in years.

But not me, instead of hugging her for dear life, which would most likely break her back, we just shared our usual greeting.

By calling each other yankee dragon and flat-chested gorilla respectively.

We held back because trust me, we've called each other a lot of names and these were the safest ones we knew at the top of our heads.

I missed that big lizard, I really did.
