I will upload this book on Saturday and Sunday.
***********
Yo listen up, here's the story about a normal guy that lives on a blue planet. I am Michael Bryce, a 35-year-old average-looking dude with a decent job, I guess, & as for my social life, I really don't have anything special to mention about it. My parents have kicked the bucket years ago, & most of my friends are busy with their own shitfuckery know as Life… I guess I am a loner now.
Everything was going so normal in my life and then this fucking hijo de puta motherfucker ran me over, out of hundreds of people walking in the sidewalks, he chooses my sorry arse to run over.
"Ugh!" Before I know it, I'm lying on the asphalt as jolts of unbearable pain shot through me, there was nowhere I did not feel pain.
People are running all around me instead of trying to help, hell some of these mofo's even pulled out their phones and started recording and taking snapshots.
'Are you fucking kidding me!' What… What the hell happened to this world? I see countless people around me, but no one came forward to help, where the hell did your humanity go!
With a nauseous unease, I lifted my head a little and slowly glance towards my lower body, there's a wide pool of blood, both of my legs were snapped at an odd angle.
I hear the wail of an ambulance siren, igniting a little bit of hope in me. If I came out of this alive that unknown bitch is dead! The pain of crushed bones and broken legs is becoming too much for me to bear! I will make that fucker pay in blood; this agonizing pain is killing me!
I really, really wanted to scream extreme profanities at that unknown bitch, but I am finding it hard to even utter a single word due to the amount of blood I am spewing up from my mouth.
"I… I am g-going to die…" Death remains the only thing that man has not yet been able to conquer. Everyone will die at some point and today is my day, yay!
As death crept closer and closer, tears formed in my eyes. I can instinctively tell that I will not live to see another sunset, my father was an accomplished Orthopaedic surgeon and he once told me that, a conscious dying person can know if they are on the verge of dying. Some will feel immense pain for hours before dying, while others die in seconds. A person who is approaching death in the next few minutes/seconds will gasp for breath out of "air hunger" and have noisy secretions while breathing.
"GAsp!" It is becoming increasingly obvious... I can deny it no longer... I am going to die. In a matter of a couple of seconds, cold darkness envelopes all, preventing me from seeing any shape or figure.
I was half-expecting to find myself in heaven where my dead relatives and parents waiting there to welcome me or a pole to hell you know... but all I see is an infinite void of non-existence. Could it be that I had lost the ability to, see? I had no idea what's going on, but I can still properly think, right? Then… then I might be still alive and I simply had suffered coma.
[Candidate No: 9080613287491893^] Suddenly a female voice I had never heard before in my life rang throughout my head.
[Welcome to Afterlife, Candidate No: 9080613287491893^ unfortunately you have died. However, the gods have something nice for you, you are chosen out of millions to be reincarnated in a world of fantasy and superpowers] Huh? Seriously, now I am hearing things? They say that when people are confined in darkness for an extended period of time, they go mad. I am sure I am suffering this exact thing currently.
[You are not hearing things, mortal. It is the truth] Did the voice just… [Read your mind?] Ay, what the fuck… it replied back.
[Mortal, I say one more time. You are dead, and this is not some twisted joke. So don't interrupt me again! I don't have all day so either you take this golden opportunity or lose it, I simply don't care. I will just find another candidate in your place] No, no, please, I will keep my mouth shut from now.
[Good, now listen, your ticket to another world is booked, but if you wish to acquire some powers or boons you have to answer some riddles, four is the maximum number of wishes the gods can grant you, so are you up for some riddles?] Riddles, um… I guess… I may be able to solve a few of them & at least I can get one wish, right?
[1st riddle, this belongs to you, but everyone else uses it, what am I?] The female voice asked. Tricky riddle, it could be an object… Maybe money… Oh, I got it.
"My name?" [Excellent, right answer] Sound of loud clapping resounds from all around me. [I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with wind. What am I?]
"An echo?" I answered immediately, this riddle was very familiar to me. I read it on online a few days ago, lucky me.
[Congratulation, the gods have granted you one wish. Would you like to continue?] Umm, why not?
[Excellent, next. You see a boat filled with people. It has not sunk, but when you look again you don't see a single person on the boat. Why?] Let me guess these people jumped in the water to enjoy an oh-so-exciting swimming, right? [Wrong] Huh? Why?
[I will ask again; you see a boat filled with people. It has not sunk, but when you look again you don't see a single person on the boat. Why?] They could have also gone below the deck… but my guts are telling me this is a wrong answer.
You see a boat filled with people. It has not sunk, but when you look again you don't see a single person on the boat. Why? I repeated in my head, and after some time, gathering my thoughts I answered her, hoping that it will be the right answer.
"Because All the people were married or they are all couples." Another deafening clap of thunder told me that my answer was right.
[I come from a mine and get surrounded by wood always. Everyone uses me. What am I?] A lead, pencil lead, right?
[Yes, the answer is a pencil lead] That one was easy, hehe. [Congratulation you have earned another wish] yay, two more riddles and I will get my third wish.
[What disappears as soon as you say its name?] A gold-digger? [No… Wrong] Why does her voice sound like she was a little startled by my answer. [The answer is simple, you are thinking out of the box, you need to think logically or in a straightforward way, Mortal]
If I had hands, I would have scratched the hell out of my head, this stupid riddle got my brain in a twist.
<It's silence> A elderly voice rang at the back of my voice. W-who are you? <Your unique answer was certainly something I wasn't expecting, Michael Bryce, but nonetheless, you made me laugh> Who're you, sir? The female voice interrupts our conversation. [We don't have all day] She warned.
"It's silence" Immediately another round of thunderous clap made my very soul shudder in discomfort, the sounds are coming from all directions, and it's kind of annoying, but I dare not to complain due to fear of bringing the wrath of gods on me.
[What comes once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?] Heh! Easy! Too easy.
Due to giving my complete focus on her words, I was able to discern the answer instantly. Which was hiding in the bloody riddle itself.
"The letter M." I answered [Correct, Congratulation you have earned your third wish, would you like to continue?]
"Will I keep my memories?" [No] Shit, I don't want to lose my memories. A person without a memory of he/she is… That's like being a belly dancer without a torso.
"Yes, I would like to continue" [Very well, what can you hold in your right hand, but never in your left hand?] My dick… Wait I can hold it with both of my hands. It could be a pen also; I mean I write with my right hand… But she said hold, I can also hold a pen in my left hand.
"Is it my… left hand?" I hesitated before answering, I was half-expecting she would scream wrong but instead, she said it was the right answer.
[The person who makes it and the person who buys it have no use for it and the person who uses it never sees it or feels it. What is it?] Now this one is a tricky one, jewelry… I guess?
No that is a wrong answer, your partner uses it and could feel it too… Then… A couple of seconds goes by and I still couldn't come with an answer. <A coffin> I heard the whisper of the same old man at the back of my head.
"Coffin?" [Yes, you have answered all eight riddles correctly. So, tell me what are your four wishes?] I would like to keep my memories. [Granted] Will I reincarnate as a baby? [Yes and no, if you wish to reincarnate as a baby, then yes, we can grant it that to you. But if you don't want to start as a baby, we can reincarnate you inside a grown man or a teenager] Teenager is the best option, I would like to choose that, that will be my 2nd wish.
[Oh, you don't have to wish for it. This is an option available to everyone] Her words confirmed that I am not the only guy they have reincarnated until now.
"Reactive adaptation of Doomsday, I want that power of his." Doomsday constantly adapts to forms of attack. After experiencing one form of attack, his body evolves to resist that same form of attack in the future. In the comics, Superman once used a sound gun to paralyze Doomsday, but Doomsday's auditory canals closed making him impervious to the weapon. Waverider paralyzed Doomsday once with "chronal" energy, but the second attempt backlashes on him.
[Granted] The female voice answered after a moment of silence. "Thank you, my third wish will be the Photographic reflexes of Taskmaster." Anthony "Tony" Master's aka taskmaster, his primary power is one hell of a power. He can watch another person's physical movements and duplicate them without any practice or training, no matter how complex. Tony is able to duplicate almost any physical activity after seeing it done by someone else only once. Taskmaster can use this ability to master complex gymnastics routines and play difficult pieces of music. By reviewing recordings of movements periodically, Tony can retain duplicated moves indefinitely. When facing an opponent, he has already studied countless martial arts, and can virtually predict his enemy's attacks. He can also copy the subtle muscle movements of others so precisely that he can at times do things such as copying another person's voice so precisely as to fool voice recognition software although he must practice a voice to ensure he has perfected it enough to fool such devices.
If this guy had the physical strength of spiderman, this dude can easily solo almost most of the heroes of marvel and the DC universe
[Granted]
"Is it possible for you to grant me the powers of Shazam? If not, I will wish for…" The voice cuts me off. [Granted, now off you go!] Wait a damn minute! I want to ask something important… [Don't have time] All of a sudden, a blinding light surrounded my body, and then I lost the ability to hear too and I was still in utter darkness, but this time I had this feeling at the back of my head that if I willed myself to snapped out of this void of endless darkness, I will be able to wake up.

When I opened my eyes a bright white ceiling greeted me, I put my hand up to my chest for a beat.
"I'm fucking alive!" I whispered with emotion as I felt the regular beating of my heart. For the first time in my life, a simple sound of heartbeats filled me with uncontrollable joy.
I looked around the room I was in and immediately I can tell that I am inside a ward, laying on the hospital bed. The ward looks like a modern hospital room, so it must be a stupid idiotic dream? But how did I recover so fast?
There is no way a person can heal from such an injury in a few hours. It isn't possible, I can feel my toes and legs underneath the blanket. Something is not right here, could it be that wasn't a dream, thankfully, there was an easy way to find out.
"ARGh!" I tried to sit up and check my body, but a jolt of agonizing pain ran through me from my lower abdomen. I grabbed the aluminum guardrail of my hospital bed and used them to support myself and tried to tone down the pain a little.
Somehow with great difficulty, I was able to lean against the head mattress of the bed and buried my back into the comfort of it. I sighed and slowly lifted my shirt to check the source of the pain, and it shocked me to no end, my upper body is completely covered with bandages.
No that is not the reason behind my shock, the actual reason behind my shock is the structure of my body. This is not a body of a grown-ass man; this is a body of a teenager!
That wasn't a fucking dream!
