~CASSELBA'S POV
THE THREE DAYS to Melanie's funeral pass by in a blur for me. My mornings are the usual; first, my run in the Woods, coffee next, and the drive to school after. My lectures take up most of the day and it is only around the last quarter of day that I finally have time to do what's really important. To work more on building a completely, staggering foolproof strategy of crippling the Apex.
This is what's really important right now, but somehow, the other activities of the day actually manage to cut in on the nontrivial things.
In the multitude of these things that cage me away for most of the day, I still manage to creep to my study to sneak a peek or two at the folder given to us by the elusive Mr. K. The handler of Colonel Fraser Colby who turned out to be a very not mysterious fellow with a pudgy face and too-big glasses called Dr. Elias Kent.
