Butler Bunber, Not at your service

A ghostly apparition of a man in a suit having tea time on a couch with 3 other floating tea cups that occasionally rattled. "Well hello, who might you be?" the ghostly man inquired. Jack, upon seeing that he wasn't in any danger, decided to play along "my name is Jack sir?"

"Jack?" the man questioned

"Yes"

"What an average name indeed" laughing quietly the man replied

"Oh, and what would be your name" jack shot back slightly annoyed

"My name is Bunber, I'm the butler in this mansion" Bunber proudly replied

"Number?" jack asked tilting his head in a confused look

"No, its Bunber"

"Well Butler Number, would you happen to know the way out of here?"  Jack teasingly asked

"Its Bunber, not Number young man, and unfortunately you've been trapped inside my master's manor, I suppose I should give you some advice for survival at the very least" reaching into a small chest beside the couch Bunber pulled out a strange object that Jack could not recognize.

"This right here is what the muggles call a flashlight. This'll be what stands between you and death" handing over the flashlight, Jack was confused "how does it work?"

"Just flip that switch and a beam of light will appear"

Flipping the switch the light suddenly appeared and shone on Bunber

"OUCH!" Bunber yelled as he dived behind the couch out of sight. "TURN OFF THAT BLASTED LIGHT BEFORE YOU DISINTEGRATE ME!" Bunber screamed as the stray light coming below the couch started to dissipate his feet. "Oh sorry" turning off the light Bunber gave a sigh of relief as his feet returned to normal.

"That FLASHLIGHT sure has a kick to it, Please kindly watch where you're pointing that light. Im one of the good ghosts i can assure you" Bunber sternly spoke as he got out of his hiding spot. Just as he got back into his seat a white ghost started to materialize in the corner of the room. "What is that?" Jack asked "Oh! It looks like one of those dreadful spirits has just appeared over there. Try hitting the ghost with your flashlight's light beam to destroy it, and try not to let the ghost touch you! It can be quite.... painful" Bunber grimaced as if in remembrance of a memory long past.

The ghost having finished materializing gave out a screech as it saw Jack with its maw opened wide, lined with pointed teeth. Stumbling back, Jack barely dodged the first lunge before finally remembering to turn on the light. *hiiiissssss* the wraith hissed at jack as the beam of light froze it in place and almost instantaneously destroyed the creature at the same time.

"Excellent!" Bunber clapped in approval

"I think you may have a knack for this, young Jack. Would you mind disposing of a few more spirits for me? They can be quite troublesome and i'm not as quick as i used to be".

Still in shock from nearly getting his head bit off Jack made an attempt to reply before he was cut off by a loud cackling luaghter that chilled the room.

"Oh no…. Did you hear that despicable laughter? It seems as if my master is approaching!" rushing to a door Bunber turned back to face Jack

"I'm sorry Jack, but I must make a hasty retreat. I'd suggest you do the same before he arrives.

He's not a very pleasant host" and with that last comment he shut the door, and ran off deeper into the manor leaving Jack all alone once more.

"I think the hell not!" rushing the door he twisted the knob only to find the door was locked "you crazy butler, you locked me in!" Jack yelled at the door. "for the greater good" a faint reply came back to him echoing from far away. "Damn, now what?" Wheeling around jack marched his way back to the main foyer where there were two doors yet to be explored.

Reaching into a pocket he took out a sickle coin. He made a decision: heads take the right door, tails left door. With a flick of a thumb the coin flipped into the air before landing back into his palm head face up. "Right door it is".

opening the right door jack entered into a gloomy room faintly lit with candles. It was a wide room with few furniture decorating the room and a small pedestal with an odd red item 'probably a muggle thing, I'll have to ask the butler when i catch him' jack thought as his eyes that were roaming the room locked onto a staircase heading upstairs on the far opposite side of the room.

Before he could he even take a step for the stairs however, a bony arm smashed through the floor narrowly missing Jack's ankle. A second arm followed before pushing on the floor pulling the main body out of the floor. Before Jack stood a full grown skeleton standing six feet tall, bone white with feral red soul flames floating in its eye sockets.

"You know what, how about we call a truce and go our separate ways?" In response the skeleton growled and swiped at him. Jack ducking down took that as his cue and made a run for the stairs, the skeleton hot on his heels. Nearing the staircase Jack dove to the side in a barrel roll as a wraith materialized into existence pouncing at him in front and narrowly missing him while crashing into the Skeleton scattering its bones all over the floor.

*scree* dazed the wraith shook its head to clear the stars floating around its eyes

"Well that wasn't very nice of you" the wraith whipped its head to the side where it heard the voice. In front of its eyes a grinning Jack stood his flashlight pointing straight at it. "You gotta be quicker than that" eyes widening in fury the wraith didn't get a chance to reply before a beam of light tore through it and killed it and the skeleton leaving behind glowing orbs of blue light on the floor.
