Aiden grinned, "My self-control with you is almost zero. You need to be the one with the pants on in this relationship or we're in serious trouble."
Marley scoffed. "This is not new information. I've always worn the pants between us!"
When Gabby walked in the door with two glasses of water, they were still holding each other in a comfortable silence. Aiden squeezed her tighter for a fraction of a second, breathing her in a final time before untangling them and standing to his feet. He slipped his shoes back on, bending to tie the laces. "My girlfriend is fed and happy. My work here is done."
Gabby pat his arm with a gleeful smile, skipping over to the plates, "You're a good man, Aiden."
"One who also gave you a double serving and for Marley, I added extra parmesan."
