Isabella Martini - POV
"Stay safe, and don't be late," Arlo said as he placed a chaste kiss on my forehead before letting me go.
"Okay, don't miss me too much," I told him, making sure that the warriors around us heard our little conversation. From my peripheral vision, I saw Elder Micheal get out of the elevator and come to a stop as he saw us all standing outside.
"Bye," I told Arlo, and he nodded his head before I walked towards the waiting car. As soon as I got inside, the warrior sped out of there. It was a forty-five-minute drive to the human town, and I could basically hear my heart beat against my chest while my eyes looked out at the forest.
"Where do you want to go first?" Sophia's voice broke me out from my train of thought as I turned around to face her.
