Beta Jacob Yale - POV
As I flipped the light on, it flickered for a few seconds before turning on. I locked the door behind me and looked around the small room. There was nothing much in here. A small double bed, a desk that had a notebook, and a window that was overlooking the forest outside. The bed was made. I walked towards the desk and ran my finger over it, and when I brought it up, I saw that it was coated with dust.
Didn't she say that she had guests yesterday?
This place looks like it has not been used for a very long time. Not only was there dust on the table, but the bed sheet also had a thin layer of dust, and the room had the smell of unused furniture. I opened the bathroom and looked inside when I saw that the floor had dust in it as well.
