Isabella Martini - POV
She stared at me for a long time before she turned her concentration back to her book and began to rapidly turn pages. An uneasy silence settled in the room when she finally stopped her search and looked at both of us. She turned the book towards us and pointed at a page.
There was a drawing of a man with a lot of lines on his body, which must indicate cuts or wounds. As my eyes moved up, I saw that the person's eyes were colored a deep red. "This is the undead. It is where a strong healthy person is changed into something that doesn't belong in this world nor in the hereafter as well." Minerva began to explain as she pointed out to the man. "To create a creature, first the man would undergo rigorous torture, and a lot of cuts would be made in all the major arteries and veins to drain the blood from the body."
"So they are vampires, is it?" Arlo asked her, but she shook her head.
