Burning Heat

It was supposed to be a simple, innocent hug of a boy offering comfort to his distressed best friend. But somehow, I found myself astride Ash’s thighs, with his arms firmly wrapped around my body and his face squished against the curve of my bare shoulder. I could feel the moment he started to nose at the expanse of my throat, it had only taken a tiny brush of his nose against my skin to make me tremble against him and I instinctively tightened my hold around his broad shoulders as a small whimper slipped out before I could think. It must have been a mistake, I said to myself, but then he did it again, and again– his hot breaths fanning against my sensitive scent gland along with each firmer drags of his nose. _____ Andy Draco is a gay, nineteen year old Omega with a little bit of warlock magic in him, who can't seem to choose between friendship and lust. Chapter 14

"You guys are the very best." I ended up whispering out after a couple of minutes had passed with me struggling with what to say. I just know that my incoming heat was responsible for my feelimg this emotional at this very moment. Because Ella was an omega, she understood me more and she gave me a warm smile before reaching up to brush a strand of hair out of her forehead.

"We really are, aren't we, Ella." Azriel agreed before throwing Ella a glance, and she agreed with him instantly. I breathed out a watery laugh the next moment, endeared by the small giggle Ella let out as she watched the emotions play out on my face.

"Aw, look at who's getting emotional." Azriel started to coo beside me and I fixed a scowl on my face almost immediately before starting to argue. "That's not me, that's just my heat and nothing more."

"Speaking of heats… Andy, your scent is starting to get out, aren't you cloaking it anymore?" She asked lowly and I felt myself puff out a slow sigh.

I still have the last piece of suppressant with me, but I had been really hoping that I wouldn't have to make use of it until when I'd want to visit the store to shop for more suppressants later this evening. But now, it seems like I was going to have to make use of it before then.

I sat up slowly and started to reach for my bag.

"Do you have your suppressants with you?" I asked Ella as I ruminate through my bag for it. If Ella had hers with her at the moment, then I was going to request for her own and make use of if right now, then I wasn't going to make use of mine until when I'd be leaving school for the store.

"Let me check." She suggested and started to search in her bag. "I usually have a couple with me but none seems to be here at the moment, perhaps I had left everything at home." Ella began to speak even before she turned around to stare at me. I breathed out a small sigh in the next moment, feeling dread start to settle in my chest at the thought of me having just one piece of suppressant with me when I still have to stay outside the safety and comfort of my bedroom for over three hours.

"It's fine, don't worry about me. I'll be alright." I said to her after a couple of seconds, not wanting her to start getting worried and worked up over me,

"Are you sure?" She asked and I nodded my head at her instantly.

"How are you going to head home tonight? By yourself?" Azriel asked, and that was when I remembered about the text I received this morning from my best friend.
