"I dare you to repeat that word." He said in a low voice, the anger was visible in his eyes as it was in his voice, and I was starting to feel a little bit scared at this point, but wouldn't ever dare to show that particular emotion on my face in a moment like this. Thanks to my scent cloaking gift, I was able to effortlessly mask the scent of my little bit of fear.
I pushed my hair away from my face before starting to speak, repeating what I had said before.
"Because I can. You are a no fucking body."
I've got to admit that I wasn't all that scared of him because he was a regular alpha and not a pure blooded alpha.
He growled and banged his hands harshly on our table, and I watched as Ella's smoothie rolled off the table with the force of his hits. Ella let out a small outraged cry before pushing herself to her feet angrily.
"Can you get the hell away from here? You're obviously not welcomed here." She screamed up at him as she panted harshly. I watched as he averted his gaze off my face to stare down at Ella unbelievably. It felt like he was about to touch her but Azriel was before her in a second, using his bigger body to automatically shield Ella from the Alpha's furious gaze.
"Get out of the way you beta, this isn't any of your business." He said to Azriel in a low voice with his hands fisted at his side.
"Oh, it's very much our business. When do you plan on leaving our table? Clearly no one wants you and you're over here making a fool of yourself in a really embarrassing way." I fired back at him before Azriel could start to speak, hearing surprised gasps and laughs starting to echo around me from onlookers who were still sitting around their tables, not wanting to miss any second of what was currently happening.
"I'm warning you, kid. What are you even? A beta? An omega?" He demanded with a sneer, staring down at me with disgust.
"None of your business, just get the fuck away from here and stop being this shameless and desperate all because nobody wants you." I echoed back without missing a beat.
"You fucking gay, disgusting faggot–" He started to say, staring down at me with disguist written over his face, and I pushed myself to my feet as soon as the 'f' word sank into my head.
"Oh, you still think being called 'gay' is an insult? In this century? Try to do better next time by thinking of a better comeback instead of coming up with one as flat and meaningless as this, because bro— I am gay but you'd never ever dream of hitting this even if you wanted to, because you're way below my league." I said to him after a couple of moments, just as really loud laughter and cheers started to get even louder around the whole cafeteria.
The alpha was so damn embarrassed at this point but for some reasons, it seems like he was scared of making a move at me because he probably thought I was a pure blooded alpha who had managed to clock his scent.
He tried to get in another word but I waved my hand at him before starting to speak. "Just give up already and go your fucking way. If you try to say something else, I'm afraid your level of stupidity would get to the level where other stupid people are aiming to reach. You might as well walk away at this point to avoid being crowded the most stupid person of the year."
I paused for a moment and picked up my bag to tug it over my shoulder before continuing. "Which might end up seeming like a huge achievement to you, who knows? Anyways, try to do better next time, alpha."
