Chapter 16: Tarun`s shares

First time they got news about Tarun was after 10 years when accidently Atharv saw his photo. They tried to find him there but they didn't get any clue. After nearly 7 Years by chance Vijay saw Rathi in other city where he had come for a meeting.

After investigating he found out about Tarun`s dismissal and their daughter Arthi. He eventually informed to Ajay about them.

Ajay was exited to welcome Arthi into the family but he didn't want Rathi to be in the same house. Ajay believed that Rathi was the reason for what happened in to his family even after years he had grudges against her.

Ajay wanted to lure Arthi his side with expensive gifts and wanted to get rid of Rathi. Arthi knew everything what had happened in the past so she was not ready to go with her grandpa and abandon her mom. She could see through her grandpa`s cunning mind.

Ajay offered financial help for Arthi studies before Rathi speak Arthi rejected any help from him. Ajay offered Arthi to make her join best school in which Seema`s kids where going for which was not ready but Rathi some made her agree since it was one of the best school.

Arthi was still very adamapnt and not ready to accept any help from her grandpa she went to normal procedure in which got seat through scholarship.

Ramesh and Seema had three kids, first is son Suresh who is 7 years older, second is a daughter Maya who is 4 years old than Arthi, and their third kid Pradeep is younger than Arthi by 3 years.

Over the period of time with seeing her grandpa`s determination to get her home and with her mother`s pressure Arthi agreed to go to his house on weekends.

Rathi wanted Arthi to have healthy relation with everyone in the Dixit family. What she never imagined her decision will make her daughter suffer.

In Dixit house, every Rai family members used to join them every weekend and enjoyed the day. Initially Gowri, Seema used to shower her love, she and Vijay used to talk to her nicely and used to tell her stories about her father and their childhood stories and pranks.

She used to help Divya and Pradeep in their homework's and projects and Atharv also started to get close to her and praise her baking skills. Both grandpas used to like her due to academic achievements.

After couple of months Gowri died due to heart attack since she was in poor health. But Ramesh had other plans he started fill venom into Seema by saying Arthi is unlucky.

Also as for Shruthi he made her misunderstanding on Tarun and told tales that he and Rathi are planning to get together. As for his kids he knew Maya had a crush on Atharv who now was getting close to Arthi started fill nonsense. For Suresh who was arrogant and bratty Ramesh used property of his grandpa lure him to take advantage on Arthi.

Once the weekends which was filled with stories and joy for Arthi turned into torture's where her cousins pulled prank on her. She was pushed to swimming pool and accused for broken vases, smearing the painting, and stealing things blamed it on her.

Seema used taunt her saying she is unlucky to her own father so he died on her birthday. Shruthi used blame Arthi since she had grudges against her mother. Even Divya joined Maya and Suresh and started to bully her.

Pradeep was the only one who stuck with Aru through out this period. This irked Ramesh because he couldn' t carry his plans. As for Seema was very superstitious was scared that Arthi' s will effect her son.

Over the period of time Arthi got used to the conditions of Dixit house, but she never complained about her situation to her mom or grandpa. She used to arrive at Dixit house and used sit in with grandpas and started too concentrated on her studies.

But once she heard her grandpa talking about her Atharv and emerging companies and stuff and planned to take all the shares that belonged to her father and wanted to divide equally to Atharv, Suresh and Pradeep.

But she heared Vijay was not ok with it and spoke against it but was silenced by Dixit and Rai grandpa's even Ramesh agreed to them and said bad things about Rathi.

Arthi felt all their concern`s and love they showered was just a show and get her father shares from her. So she gradually stopped going to Dixit house but what she heard from Atharv and Maya`s conversation was her last straw which broke her completely.

Arthi decided to leave the town which filled with toxic and fake people who wanted her shares. So she joined Sid in Princeton University since she already got her selection letter on her email since she cleared the online entrance exams.
