Chapter 6: Gravity magic

At this time the doctor walks out "Her wounds are all good and she is good to go. But she insisted on staying here tonight. Is something bothering her?"

"No, no. I think she is just tired for tonight. Don't worry I will come tomorrow to pick her up." Doctor nods as he hears Karl.

Karl walks towards the exit. "Leonard! Wait." Zena calls for Karl

'Shit, did they notice?' Karl hesitantly turns back. Zena walks closer to Karl. Karl's heart beat increases. He tries his hardest to maintain his poker face. Zena grabs Karl's hand. On Karl's other hand a magic circle appears. Then Zena taps her watch on Karl's watch.

"Here is my badge. Scan this as you go in girl's dormitory. Remember this is one time use." The magic circle on Karl's hand fades away.

"Thank you." Karl smiles and walks through the exit. Zena turns back facing the doctor.

The door opens again. Karl peeks in. "Please change your clothes before sleeping." Karl says with a mischievous smile.

Both doctor and Zena blushes till their faces turned red. Zena turns around and yells "GET OUT!" Karl closes the door and leaves with a smile.

Zena slowly turns around and asks the doctor "B-Babe! Do I smell that bad?" Seeing Zena's cute reaction the doctor smiles "Of course not. He is just messing you. By the way, a metal tray is missing from Andressa's room. Did you saw it?"

"No. You probably misplaced it somewhere and forgot about it. You are always like that. Now come here."

"Y-yeah." Doctor agrees hesitantly.

Karl stands in front of a huge 5 story mansion. The mansion has a wall all around it with fencing on the inside. This makes the dormitory looks like a jail. Karl walks toward the gate to open it.

"What are you doing?" a sweet yet sudden voice startles Karl. He turns around and sees a woman in her early twenties. An angel descended straight from heaven. She has knee length blond hair, an attractive face with perfect golden eyes and a spear with weird engraves in her eyes.

She continues stare at Karl. Few seconds passes in silence. Karl finally comes back to his sense. "Yes. My name is Ka-Leonard Avaritia. I am here to get my girlfriend's stuff."

"May I see her ID?" The angel pulls her hand out.

Karl looks at her then looks back at her. "I don't have her ID."

"Then how are you going to enter? You know this places only accepts females? To enter you should be accompanied with a resident or atleast have their ID." 

"Well, I was told that I could enter with this." Karl shows her his watch which has Zena's approval.

"An instructor's badge? What happened?" Karl smiles. 'Caught you'

"Actually my friend is in Academy's hospital now and she needs a specific spell book urgently from her room. Can you help me?" Karl explains.

"Oh! Come with me." The girl puts her hand on the gate and it swings open. "Residential ID is always better. This way the warden wont question you much. If she asks anything just say you came with Mikaela. Now go! I wait for you here."

Mikaela stays near the front gate. Karl nods and goes in the dormitory. Inside Karl sees a large lobby with stairs on both sides leading up. There are room numbers written on the front door of the room. 

It starts from 101, Karl grabs a handkerchief from his pocket and wears that around his face, hiding his identity. Then, he proceeds to walks straight searching for number 124. After a while, Karl starts to feel heavy. Still with all of his strength tries to walk.

It keeps on increasing to the point where Karl falls on the floor. Karl tries his hardest to stand up but fails. Lights on the side pops due to the pressure. Sight is not the best sense of Karl right now.

Sound of footsteps comes closer to Karl. Karl tries to stand up again, struggling he somehow got on his knees. The footsteps stop.

"My child, what are you doing here this late?" Karl barely turns around and sees a granny in a dark purple dress with a lantern in hand. Looking closely the lantern is burning a violet flame.

"Oh my! I forgot to undo the spell." The old lady just sweeps her hand in front of the lantern and the flame is back to normal instead of purple. Karl stands up panting heavily.

"Then, my child what are you doing here? This is a prohibited area."

'Should I run past this granny? No, she is definitely having a gravity type element. My agility is limited. Should I show her Zena's badge? No, that would give my identity away.'

Karl thinks for another second and answers the warden "I came with Mikaela." The warden opens her eyes in shock and gets on one knee "I see. I hope you accomplish your task. May the Horizon see you." The warden holds her hands in a praying position and just leaves.

Karl continues his search. After sometime he finally finds the room. He knocks on the door. Nobody answers. He knocks again with more strength. This time the door opens and a girl wearing short pants and a baggy t shirt is seen yawning.

"Uwah! Do you have any freaking idea what time is it?" Karl hand glows and he shoves a metal tray into the girl's open mouth.

Karl pushes the girl inside the room with sheer strength. Inside he sees two beds opposite of eachother and a window. One with photos of a unknown girl and a lot stuff toys around while other one is quite ordinary.

Overall, this room is quite bigger than Leonard's own room. The girl struggles to escape. A magic circle appears on the head of the girl. A rock is forming on the circle.

Seeing this Karl grabs her head with one hand. Then headbutts her without hesitation. The small rock collides into Karl's as well as Kareena's head and the semi completed circle breaks into pieces.

Kareena's head starts to bleed. Karl kicks Kareena in the gut making her fall. Karl puts the metal tray away. "This is how a rock is formed." Karl's hand glows purple and a heavy rock appears in Karl's hand.

He grabs Kareena's hair and hits her with the rock. Breaking Kareena's nose. He hits again. Breaking few of her teeth. Tears forms in Kareena's eyes. "W-why?"

Karl stops and pulls her closer "If you want to blame someone blame Remi." He whispers into her ear. Karl summons the tray again and shoves it into her mouth then grabs her finger and CRACK.

MUMPH! Kareena screams on top of her lungs. But sadly, none of that was heard by anyone. Karl keeps her pinned.

After few minutes, Kareena passes out from screaming. Seeing that, Karl gets up. He walks toward the ordinary bed and sees underwear lying around.

Without hesitation he grabs the pink one with the flowery pattern. 'Nice, I got the proof. Time to get out.' Instead of going out of front door Karl opens the window and jumps out.

'Good thing that fatty's room was on ground floor.' Karl takes his handkerchief off and puts his "proof" along with the metal tray into void storage before going towards the front gate.

On the front gate he sees Mikaela waiting for her. She sees Karl and waves her hand. "What happened to your forehead?" Confused, Karl touches his forehead and it stings. 'Shit! That rock must have left a mark. I was careless.' Mikaela waits for a response.

Karl looks down and says in a shy voice. "I-I was smacked by the warden because I called her old."

Mikaela bursts into laughter. "Hahh! I don't know if that's bravery or foolery."

"Come on! Don't laugh now."

"Okay. Okay. You got what you came for?" To that question Karl gives a thumbs up.

"Good. I am going now. You should too."

"Yes."

Mikaela puts her hand on the gate and it opens. Karl comes out of the girl's dormitory. The gates closes and Karl looks back to see the beautiful face of Mikaela.

"Leonard Avaritia. May the Horizon see you." To that Karl smiles and walks away.

After half an hour Karl is back in Leonard's room lying on his bed. 'This world might be a fun one.' He looks at the flowery undergarment in his hands and throws it on his desk. He turns around and let the fatigue take over.

He wakes up to his vibrating hand. Karl barely opens his eyes and sees a call notification, he clicks accept. "Hello?"

"Leonard, its Zena. Andressa wants to see you. Come to the infirmary."

"Yesh." Karl responds in a sluggish voice. Zena cuts the call. Karl just lays down again but he does not sleep, instead he just wriggles around. After 15 mins Karl finally wakes up.

He stretches his body and empties his void storage. 'Does using a spell often makes it more proficient? Gotta ask Ian later.' Karl takes his clothes off completely and hops in the shower. After another 15 minutes Karl is ready to go. He looks at the mirror for one last time.

'But seriously, this man is too short and ugly.' Karl sighs deeply. He opens his dorm room and breathes in deeply. Karl checks the time on his watch.

10:30.

Karl clicks his tongue 'Missed the breakfast.' Ignoring that he starts his journey towards the infirmary.

Andressa who is now in her school uniform, sitting in front of a handsome man.

"Does it hurt anywhere?" The doctor asks with a smile.

"No."

"How are the studies going?"

"Good."

Despite the lack of enthusiasm, the doctor continues to ask questions.

"How is-"

"When is Leonard coming?" Andressa cuts in.

Doctor looks at the clock on the wall. "Well, Zena called him an hour ago. He should have been here by now."

Just as he finishes a knock was heard. "Come in!" The door opens and Karl walks in. He waves at Andressa.

"Looks like you have to go. Don't forget to take the painkillers from time to time." The doctor advices. Karl and Andressa walks out of the infirmary.
