Jong Hyun, looked pale and haggard as he stared at his mother and aunt concubine Park. As he slowly scratched her mother's palm, she blinked once and called the physician sent by the king " I heard, there were few bone nourishing herbs sent by concubine Kim and Empress. I was so worried for him I couldn't do anything can you please bring it here for Little Hyun to drink".

Physician bowed down and went just to did that. Just then it was announced that the King was there to visit Hyun. As king entered his eyes were filled with fake tears, holding Jong Hyun's hand he fake cried " dear, nephew please tell me what happened that day. So, that your helpless uncle can avenge you".

Jong Hyun remained silent, which made the king anxious, these days he was too worried to know who acted against Lee Jong Hyun and whether it was done by Foe or friend. Though end result was helpful but his conscious and years of experience won't let him rest easy.

Lee So Ru whispered " Brother, I think I have an idea". This attracted King Lee So Jun's attention " sister ,tell me I promise you. I will avenge him".

Lee So Ru stood up and quickly closed the door after making sure all maids were gone and no-one was listening " Jong Hyun had been experiencing bad dreams lately and it always meant great danger to you and him. Just before the accident he saw in his dreams that a huge tiger was getting killed and so, I called a shaman and made him do the research. He pointed to two places by his methods, one was near Jong Hyun's palace and other was yours".

Lee So Jun was shocked "though, he was smart and practical person but superstition still prevailed in all the rulers hearts and they can't take any risk". So Ru went and brought a tray hidden by black cloth. Revealing it was two miniature dolls but the fearful thing was their faces was similar to Jong Hyun and Lee So Jun and their body stabbed by bloodied needles..

" Preposterous" scolded king " this level of evil craft done inside my palace. I will personally do the investigation and who ever is responsible will suffer at my hands. I promise you".

Just then physician brought the medicine for Jong Hyun. While he drank the medicine, his eyes started to roll and guttural sound came from Jong Hyun's mouth. Lee So Ru and concubine Park who heard the noise came inside, Lee So Jun became scared, he was already scared by those dolls and the animalistic way Jong Hyun looked ,he escaped at first chance and letting both women alone with him, just then crashing sound was heard and all the candle placed inside fall down, and the curtain quickly catched the fire.

Lee So Ru screamed, guards waiting outside ran inside to see the uncontrollable Lee Jong Hyun thrashing on bed as he can't move waist down, his hands as if compensating for it, threw the heavy bedside table and flower vases in anger.

When head guard tried to escort Lee So Ru and concubine Park they rejected and asked to bring Lee Jong Hyun first. Lee Jong Hyun was so uncooperative that it took all the guards collective effort to bring him out and as they were about to return their was a huge blast and it was revealed that concubine Park and Eldest Princess Lee So Ru both passed away.

Lee Jong Hyun became silent in depression and King declared Lee Dong Mu as crown prince and Lee Jong Hyun was given house arrest. As time passed he was slowly forgotten and THAT WAS WHAT HE WANTED.

All this planning was done by Jong Hyun since he was seven. He created soup falling incidence by killing the maid who threw him down the stairs in his previous life and concubine Kim without knowing it became the best distraction there was.

While all was busy on her, he alone went to the terrace, gave superficial injury to his face which caused lot of bloodied injury. A dummy wearing his clothes were thrown out and while Dong Mu could investigate Lee Ok-gi gave him few seconds delay and on that time dummy was replaced by him as he jumped through the trellis by easy martial arts that he had been practising for last seven years by his late father's mentor.

He already took a medicine that he arranged for himself which gave him weak pulse and the physician that took his initial care was arranged by him when Concubine Kim was burnt, he gave him intentional acupuncture to block the movement or feeling in lower leg.

As for his mother and aunt, he wanted them gone before King would make them his target. He was sure his injury and black magic would fall on concubine Park as he wanted to diminish their power in the court.

While he was taken out by guards, Jong joon opened the secret gate where both women escaped and he placed already burnt corpse inside the chamber. Next to aggravate the fire Jong Joon added few explosives.He was sure King would not be interested in investigating how the fire spread but if Lee So Ru amd concubine Park was actually dead.

So, for next eight years, concubine Park and Lee So Ru lived their life in seclusion. First they didn't want to do that but Jong Hyun showed Concubine Park her personal maid secretly meeting the head eunuch and taking money for it. As for his mother, she always wanted a secluded life after his father left them. But for Jong Hyun she stayed and when she learnt how dangerous it would be for Jong Hyun if they stayed. That plan came into fruitation.

The reason for Jong Hyun's weird behaviour was placed on the medicine sent by concubine Kim and it was easily side lined with black magic as protecting Concubine Kim was more beneficial for Lee So Jun because of her relationship to Prime minister Go.

Now after eight years have passed and Lee Jong Hyun used the superstition and cripple to be protected from Lee So Jun's eyes and slowly he brought his father's men together with some he himself recruited from abandoned kids to helpless citizens. His plan was finally giving him results that he wanted.
