It's been twenty-four years since he have been reborn in this world, living alongside his mother, which felt satisfying, reminded of her beautiful smile he couldn't help feeling blessed.

"It's been a while," he whispered to himself, sitting in a cross-legged position, in the middle of a nameless forest. It was quiet, rather than that all the living monsters and beasts in this place, were gathered around him in the distance, staring at him, scared.

He smiled at the sight of them as he opened his eyes from the meditation. Looking at the blue sky, he says sighing, "Are you watching, Are you all watching over me in this world."

All of a sudden, he felt the presence of humans entering the forest, which had him curious, as humans don't venture too far, especially in this dangerous place, noticing again that there was children's presence mixed in sparkled his curiosity even more.

Thinking it was still far from lunchtime, and his mother was not going to be looking for him anytime soon, he decided to take a look.

He stealthily got on a branch of the massive trees close to them and there he saw, a bunch of men pushing blindfolded women and children in a hurry.

"I think we went too deep boss," said one of them to a big guy with a huge scar passing through his lips.

"We have to, I never thought the security in this kingdom to be this tight, the knights are following us, I don't know if they are still, but either way keep the kids in front as bait if any beast shows up."

"I hope not, there is some pretty good merchandise this time, they're going to sell for a lot."

The boss smirked at the words of his follower.

While on the other side of the forest, the man stood there and kept watching, whilst hearing everything, laying his back on the tree. There seemed to be no expression in his eyes, not in the least surprised nor mad about the situation, nor, feeling sympathy for the kidnapped.

At the order from the boss, the men took off the blindfolds, checking, till finally taking it off a beautiful woman, one of the men jumped around saying that woman was his work, she looked special at the eyes of a businessman like this boss, brownish dark hair, gemlike honey eyes, and gorgeous curves wowing the crowd of hungry wolves.

The boss started laughing patting the back of the said follower, her face will surely sell for a lot, a goldmine. With her looks and the jewelry on her ear, it became obvious to everyone here that she was a noble or a daughter of someone of status, or one herself. The man also noticed, but based on the studies he did in this world, the pattern on her earring was special, then it flashed to him, that symbol, she was of the royal family of a neighbor kingdom. Not curious about how she ended up here, but her dying here or anything bad might result in an unnecessary war, which might involve his mother.

The kidnappers were still checking the others while some of them wondered if they could have a taste of the women, hearing that, the brownish woman started laughing, bringing confusion to the men, and to everyone's surprise, her hands were untied. Before they could react two other women untied themselves, taking out small knives of their clothes, taking care of them one by one in the middle of their confusion. Especially the beautiful woman, her knife moves were like that of oriental dance, cutting the men's limbs and heads. Later the other two covered the children's eyes while some women screamed at the bloody scene.

As soon as she was done, they asked everyone to evacuate immediately, after all this side of the forest was forbidden, even with her magic or with an army, they wouldn't be able to handle a high beast, but for an unknown reason, the woman stayed behind for a few minutes, until she caught up with them first.

The royal woman has been blessed ever since she was a kid, praised for being loved by the mana and the energy around, able to feel things even her father, the strongest in her country wouldn't be able to, feeling the slightest disturbance of the energies around her. She had another reason why she decided to evacuate that fast, she felt the presence of many beasts showing up at the smell of blood, what scared her more, was another presence, halting the other high beasts. Looking in that direction, she saw a man. Standing behind the trees, every part of her body told her to run away, her being sensitive to mana, even when he was far away, made her nauseous to his presence, almost losing her consciousness.

Their eyes met, golden eyes that looked like a dragon's, staring her down, smiled at her, his lips painted the word "run", smiled again while walking away.

She ran away as soon as he turned his back, she could not stay still in this situation with that unknown person, whose intentions were also unknown.

Even sparring with her father did not make her feel this way while getting away she laughed at herself, his presence wasn't even directed at her, she could only feel lucky as a human for surviving, and ashamed as a warrior, she was scared.
