After Kayden sent away his cousin and Knox, several minutes later, someone appeared before him without an appointment. He was a bit surprised, but he knew that time would come soon. Athan walked into his office without a word, closing the door behind him. Kayden raised his eyebrow, knowing exactly why Athan was there.
"I think we should go somewhere to talk privately." Kayden's assistant nurse was just behind the partition after all.
"Indeed," Athan agreed.
Kayden informed his assistant that he'd be stepping out for a few minutes.
