Manager, change the screensaver

The single alien spaceship passed by the various planets. It traveled slowly while keeping a watch out for ambushes since it anticipated being startled by other spaceships. The spacecraft was rather remarkable in that it could find any stealthy spacecraft or objects that were hidden from view.

The Zorians had two different kinds of spacecraft. Few of them were constructed for covert reconnaissance, whereas the majority were constructed for combat. One of those was this ship. It also has excellent detecting abilities that could be used to sniff out hidden spaceships, which could help it find them. The spaceship could fly faster and perform better manoeuvres.

These spaceships were costly and that was the reason this spaceship were few in numbers because it was made in a kind of alloy that had super conducting capabilities in almost any kind of environments.

The spaceship had several advantages, with its sole drawbacks being its shield and fighting prowess. It would even be hard for it to bring down a usual planet like Earth and it might get hit in return.

"The first planet. No hostiles detected.. No AW signs detected... Over.."

"Second planet.. No AW points of convergence.."

"3rd Planet.. No hostiles.."

"Fourth Planet.."

"Come in Zorg 4.. What is up with the fourth planet?" The Zorg 4 starship, which had been sent ahead, made an announcement as the Colonel listened. He was eagerly watching the four Argo spacecraft and paying attention to what the Zorg 4 was saying.

One wrong step and he would order to fire at Argo.

"Nothing sir.. We thought it was a huge spaceship.. But it's just a helium and gaseous high speed clouds over the planet... Over.."

The following planet, Mars, was passed by the spacecraft. Compared to the other three worlds that it had just passed, Mars was in a better state for habitation. The 'Zorg 4' spacecraft passed over Mars and took a careful look at it since bases could possibly exist there. It thoroughly scanned the entire globe, but in the end it came up empty.

Naturally, it noticed the Rovers and the other little robots that appeared to be roving the globe, but there was nothing more to notice.

"The planet is barren with nothing significant. Only a few low class robots."

"Go ahead, Zorg 4." The Colonel issued the final command since he was aware that the next planet was from where the signal had come. Even though the gadget appeared to be either neutralized or broken, it made no difference because the signal would always accurately pinpoint not only the planet's position but also the route that it would take as it traveled throughout the cosmos.

It must be remembered that each star system in the galaxy was also revolving around the black hole that is at the center so its location would never be fixed and it would change every second. So when a signal is being sent, it also sends the chart which a single planet or star would be at a certain point in time.

The 'Zorg 4' spacecraft first observed the planet of Earth after spending a complete 20 minutes scanning the entire world of Mars. It should be sufficient to mention that the Zorg 4 aliens were somewhat mesmerized by the beauty of the planet. Each planet in a star system was distinct in some way, and as a result, it had a variety of aesthetic features. The color blue was the epitome of Earth, and it really captured the attention of alien visitors.

"Hacking into the servers of their communication... Connecting to the main commander ship.."

The Colonel and the other nine spacecraft in the ten-ship fleet soon had a view of Earth on their displays. In essence, the Zorg 4 had linked the fleet to the Internet. It was incredibly simple to digest a ton of information and provide the pertinent portions because each ship has its own dumbed-down versions of AI.

The Earth was now more clearly visible to everyone. It was beautiful but it was also filled with malice. It was a planet where the species was advancing fast.

"Planet termed as Earth. Filled with Nitrogen, Oxygen and other gases. The thriving species must work hard to survive on this high class deathworld planet, and no area is safe from hazards. But as species in such deathworld system go, their own species are trying to kill each other at times for survival and other factors. Their technology hasn't advanced at all and even hasn't reach the basic level in order to travel stars. Red flag : They don't look like us."

"Final evaluation : It will take only a week to take over the whole planet and bring the species under the regime of Zora." The ship's AI provided a ballpark time estimate.

"No, it won't be finished in two weeks. We will have to keep an eye on those ships." Colonel commented as he assessed.

"You do know that I can still listen to you. Right?" Speaking over the speakers was Kaylee. Colonel wanted to threaten and swear at the woman who had just hacked their spaceship's comms, but it was ineffective.

She was undoubtedly a watcher of some kind of civilization and was awaiting the ideal moment to go hunting. Since the Argo spaceships belonged to galactic civilisation it meant that they couldn't just flex in someone else' territory since the territory of this star system belonged to someone else.

It would be a conflict on a galactic scale if they did. Of course there were all the thoughts of the Colonel himself as he was trying to evaluate the situation. Robin and Kaylee would have made fun of him if they had overheard his thoughts.

Kaylee was ignored by the colonel, who instead gave the order for all 10 spacecraft to head to Earth and begin the purging process in order to overthrow the planet and impose his rule. While doing this, he would also tell Zora about the watcher that had appeared as they approached Earth to destroy it. Maybe the galactic civilisation behind them would be interested to know who these people were and who she was.

The spacecraft entered the star system shortly after and arrived close to Earth in a few minutes.

The Earth itself wasn't behaving normally when the 10 spacecraft approached it. The reason the alien spacecraft couldn't find the Terran command centers on Mars or the city of Bespin was that over the past few months, they have not only grown there but have also used technology derived from other civilisations to conceal their presence.

They combined the technology of the Novus, Nods, Arks, and Terrans to create a technology that would enable them to be stealthy and make their bases as undetectable as possible. Thankfully, the Zorg 4 wasn't that technically advanced to detect the presence of the bases.

"With the cloaking technology, we struck it lucky." Sauvik said as they received the word from Kaylee that the spaceship wasn't even able to detect the city of Bespin. Robin had a huge victory there. Additionally, the fact that they essentially used artificial intelligence (AI) in their hacking of Internet servers prevented them from demonstrating the peculiarity of North Korea.

Sigret, the EVE, and JARVIS could never be defeated by an underdeveloped AI. Hell, even the adjutants were better in computing things than the AI which had just hacked into their Internet servers.

"Well.. The civilization looks quite advanced." Sigret gave a rough description of the spaceships and their capabilities based on what Kaylee could make out, Cathrin stated. Though it was minimal, it was enough.

"So, what do you want to do about it?" Rita queried. They were in the office of the Earth palace and were watching and observing everything on the room's video displays. In the room, they weren't the only ones.

In the room were Mirabel, Terran General Edmund Duke, and Nod representative Anton Slavik. They served as Robin's counselors, offering advice and subject-matter knowledge as needed.

"Edmund, will you be able to handle these spaceships?" Robin enquired in order to have their guarantee.

"Supreme Commander, of course. These spacecraft bear no resemblance to Zerg or Protoss designs. Much worse situations have been handled by us with success." Added Edmund.

"Good. Let the games begin."

And then, out of nowhere, a starry video appeared in many of the TV, laptop, and video screens around the globe. It wasn't in all video screens and only on those which were public and could be seen by many people at once.

This was happening to all places in the globe.

The only reason the viewers could tell that this was a video from space was the moon, which could be seen very far in the utter background of darkness, as well as the small backdrop of Earth on the side. At first, the viewers were perplexed as to why they were watching the blank void because the stars weren't visible.

"Why am I looking at a blank space? Manager change the fucking screensaver."

"This is weird. I didn't even touch the screen."

As the people were getting confused as to why they were seeing this weird video which seemed to be live, they got the answer in a few seconds as 10 huge spaceships suddenly appeared in the video screen.
