Kai went hunting with Ryan some more after that good meal but as he was hunting, he was also hearing the rings of many people messaging him for food deals, but he wanted to make them wait so they were more willing to give better things up later.
It was pretty evil, but this was a dog-eat-dog world and compared to true evil this was just baby play.
Kai watched as Ryan struck down a four-star silver fanged wolf but as the wolf died something caught Kais's eye.
A red-looking chest was sitting next to the wolfs dead body and it appeared right when it died.
Kai went up to the crate and words appeared in his vision.

Kai guessed this must have something to do with the global system sense it promoted hunting beast.
It would probably go away after the one-year grace period.
He walked up to the chest and was about to open it but Ryan yelled making him flinch.
"Ryan, why are you yelling?" Kai was kind of annoyed
"Master let me open this chest for you, I can sense a small amount of poison on this chest that could harm you."
Kai was surprised and remembered that he needed to be more careful in the future.
"Thanks Ryan I'm in your debt."
"No problem master and this poison can't hurt a nine-star qi realm, so I'll be fine."
Ryan opened the chest and Kai some items along with words.

Kai was happy with the chest rewards, and he even got a spear blueprint.

Kai actually had everything to make the Bone spear so he went ahead with the craft.

Swoosh a Bone spear appeared in his hand, it was quite smooth and looked strong, but he didn't even know how to use a spear and Ryan was a sword user, so he put away into his inventory.
Kai also checked the level two territory upgrade card.

Kai was happy he had the option to upgrade his territory, but he was surprised by some of the materials needed.
"Hm, looks good but I should also make sure I have a solid foundation for my sect before recruiting any disciples or else they won't want to join."
Kai and Ryan started heading back to the sect to make his sect look better with the new materials he gained, he also put out a new trade using food sense there was still a shortage.

Finally, Kai and Ryan made it back to the sect's territory, so he told Ryan to start making an area where he would start a small herbal farm with the [Ruby Fire Corn Seed].
As Ryan was setting up an area for the herb farm Kai checked his messages to try and get the final thing, he needed for the level two territory upgrade.
"Hey boy give me some meat and ill share your name with some higher up government officials."
"Hey nice sir throws in a few more pieces and I'll give you some wood."
Kai read some of these messages and almost laughed his ass off as he saw how arrogant people were even in desperate straits.
Kai checked some more messages and finally found a reasonable one.
"Hey boss throw in a couple more slabs of meat and I'll give you the spirit gathering stone."
Kai didn't mind giving more meat as long as the people understood what position there in, so he accepted the deal and finally got the stone he needed.
He already got the other attribute stones he needed from the trading so he decided to use the upgrade card.

Kai knew that he was defiantly using this upgrade card really early in the start but that was because he got Ryan, a nine-star qi realm cultivator making him able to gain food allowing him to prosper in the early stages. Kai also knew that there were probably a lot of people who also got extremely OP things and that he shouldn't get complacent.
Think about it, if he got a nine-star qi cultivator who says someone didn't get a celestial being or a divine dragon.

The entire territory expanded hundreds of miles and the forest was even pushed back as the territory spread further and further.

A mountain appeared in the territory and a small neat looking pagoda sat on it giving it a peaceful look.

A river appeared and it ran beside the mountain and into the deep forest.
The territory also had the small feeling of the air being cleaner as it felt like the spiritual qi was denser even if it was only by a small bit.
Even Kai himself didn't realize the full potential of the territory upgrade as he was still a mortal.
The dirt ground didn't seem to stink as much but the wooden huts still looked really bad, so Kai thought maybe the upgrade wouldn't change human-built buildings.
Kai was happy with the new look and the potential of area, so he decided to spend a little time cultivating with his basic manual while Ryan set up the herbal farm.
Kai went up the mountain which took him an entire hour of hiking and finally saw the neat looking pagoda.
It didn't look to amazing, but it had a nice feeling as it was nice and neat built with a red type of wood with a slanted stone roof supported with small stone beams.
Kai went in the pagoda and saw a small mat along with a tea tray and some candles, he sat down and pulled out the beginner cultivator manual.
