Nikola sighed out a breath as Zane finally signalled that it was okay to do so. Her entire body was rigid and her range of motion was all but completely restricted. She did not know what to do but suck in another breath and hold onto the dressing table as tightly as she could. 

  One more deep breath… and she was ready. 

Melissa smiled at her from the seat beside her and she offered her wife a tight-lipped smile in return. Her stomach was more than ready to empty itself out all over the floor but swallowed thickly and steeled herself.
