68th Break: Celebration 

The gossipy guest cupped his hands and thanked the veiled guest, who was none other than Meng Xing. "I heard of sir Meng." He spoke as he looked at Meng Xing while he and the other guests following behind him sat around the table.

"Oh?" Meng Xing's brow raised as he looked at the gossipy guest. "What have you heard of me?" he asked.

The gossipy guest, Qiu Ba, who is acting like he doesn't know Meng Xing to not blow their covers, chuckled. "Sir Meng is one of the Huichen's guests," he said and meaningfully looked at the other guests sharing their table.

The other guests were naturally surprised. However, they suppressed their emotions since they knew that the people who requested Huichen's services had difficult problems. Thus, they looked at Meng Xing and kindly smiled, feeling pity for him in their hearts since such a beautiful person is leading a difficult life.

"Aside from the Huichen's boss was a practitioner from jianghu… what other origin is there that the boss could have?" Meng Xing asked Qiu Ba as if he (MX) wasn't the one he was talking about.

The other guests' attention was diverted back to Qiu Ba.

Qiu Ba's lip twitched from behind his fan. The boss really knows how to tease people! He thought and helplessly sighed. "Well, another one is that the boss is actually someone from the royal family." He answered. "Since he can't inherit the throne, he left the palace and went to the capital to start a business." He told them.

The other guests were shocked and Meng Xing's lip twitched. It was Qiu Shiba who came from the palace, not me! He thought and shook his head.

"Really?!" the other guests exclaimed in shock.

Qiu Ba's gossipy nature was ignited and he grinned. "There are also some origins that I have heard." He spoke as his expression turned mysterious.

"What is it?" the other guests nervously asked.

"I heard… that the boss is actually – " Qiu Ba spoke. But, his words were cut off when there was a loud voice speaking, announcing the arrival of the Huichen's boss! "Speaking of Caocao, and he appears!" Qiu Ba said and smiled as he glanced at Meng Xing whose brow just twitched.

Meng Xing shook his head and turned to see which employee of Huichen came this time to impersonate him. Oh, it was Qiu Si. He thought when he saw Qiu Si's face. It was not only him who recognized Qiu Si, but also someone among the guests, whose gaze was subtly on Meng Xing. It was none other than Lin Ze, who is lovesick and is sitting not far away from where Meng Xing is.

"Welcome, sir!" Yang Hong smiled widely when he saw that the 'boss' of Huichen arrived together with some people from Huichen, too. He knows that this 'boss' might be an impostor, but he doesn't care.

Yang Ming, the eldest son, also respectfully greeted the 'boss' of Huichen as he and his father personally led Qiu Si and the two people with him – one man and one woman, Qiu Yi and Qiu Qi respectively, to the guest of honor's seat. As for Qiu Si's face, whether this is real or fake, they didn't think much about it, since who would reveal their real face when they work in Huichen? Yang Hong, Yang Ming, and the present guests think so, and Lin Ze, too, even if he has already seen Qiu Si's face before.

The celebration has finally started with the arrival of the 'boss' of Huichen. Everyone knows that this is the Yang family's celebration of the reopening of their inn. This is also to thank the Huichen, as well as to announce the engagement of the second son – Yang Ying, a scholar, who has yet to appear because he was accompanying his fiancée who fell ill last night. They guessed that the fiancée won't be able to attend tonight's celebration. Though they aren't interested in her, Huichen's 'boss' appears!

Night had already fallen as the celebration continued. There were dancers invited to entertain the guests while the foods were served one after another, showing that the Yang family was really going all-out today.

Yang Hong was still talking with Qiu Si, who was perfunctorily answering. But, Yang Hong wasn't dissatisfied. After all, the Huichen gave him a face today to show up. This alone makes him point his nose to the sky! Who could receive such an honor? Thus, he drank even more due to happiness. He didn't even care about his second son, Yang Ying, who finally appeared and also gave his respects to the people of Huichen. Seeing their father already drunk, it was Yang Ming who announced the engagement of his younger brother.

The guests gave Yang Ying a warm applause. Yang Ying apologized that his fiancée couldn't come since she was ill, which as the guests guessed, so they didn't mind and even comforted him. Yang Ying promised that he would invite them to his wedding, which is in three months! The guests were even more enthusiastic as they applauded, giving their best wishes for Yang Ying's marriage, which made Yang Ying feel warm, and then thanked them before he excused himself to return to his fiancée's side to accompany her. The guests let him leave without a complaint since they still are more interested in the 'boss' of Huichen. In fact, they are trying to find an opportunity to come up and talk to him, brushing their existence, whether they really have a business with him or not.

Meanwhile, Lin Ze looked at Meng Xing's side again as the banquet finally ended and the socializing time finally arrived. The other guests' attention is still on the 'boss' of Huichen. Even if some of them saw Lin Ze and wanted to talk to him, too, they saw Lin Ze's alienating aura and gave up the idea.

"Hey, boss– " Qiu Ba called and immediately stopped when he almost called Meng Xing 'boss'. "Someone is looking at you." He told Meng Xing before he turned back to chat with the other guests who came from afar. In fact, he was actually gathering information in case Huichen received cases from places further away from the capital.

Meng Xing turned and then met Lin Ze's gaze.
