Chapter 29

“Do something! Where’s Piers?” Grayson yelled at his new bodyguard, Sam. He looked over at the row of paparazzi now huddled close to the fence row. “And get those people out of here!”

“That’s enough! Clear out! The prince and his wife do not want to be disturbed!” Sam skied over the fence and held his hand up in front of a camera. “Prince Grayson will bring anyone who is still here up on charges if you don’t clear out now!”

Grayson rolled his eyes. If they didn’t know who he was to begin with, they did now. But he was sure that it didn’t matter anyway. The paparazzi already knew, or they wouldn’t have been here.

“Ari?” Grayson rubbed her arms and gently patted her face, trying to revive her.

“Grayson?” she asked, waking up, tears filling her eyes.

He lifted her from the snow and carried her to the waiting car. Then he turned to Sam. “Where is Piers? Get him here... now!”

“Yes, sir!” Sam replied, and then walked off to the side, talking into his wrist communicator.
