Cardan drove to the airport with his black ford mustang.

The windows were tainted so no one could see anyone inside.

Cardan used one hand to drive while the other held Wren's hands.

"I'm going to miss you" Wren pouted as she moved Cardan's hand to her thigh so she could play with his hand.

Cardan chuckled "I'll be back in a few days princess."

"I'm still going to miss you. Who's going to start a bubble bath for me and cook for me. I've gotten so used to you doing that. I can't even sleep without you now" she whined.

Cardan's expression softened. He took her hand to his lips and gave it a kiss. Wren sent him a sweet smile but her eyes conveyed how sad she still was.

Cardan continued looking at her. Her new pixie haircut making her look even more beautiful. She was wearing the diamond earrings he bought her. She always did.
