What Is My Magic?

The next day, Noah, me and Lily were summoned to the King's Chamber. The chamber was decorated beautifully with decors and expensive vases to paint. Then we saw what he presented us with. There we saw three jars. The King then said or rather ordered us "Choose a jar."

We all chose one. I chose the one with a black coloured gem. Noah chose the one with a white gem. Lily chose the one with the green gem.

The King then said, "Open the jar". We did. We all found the same white crystal with bluish-violet energy moving in it.

I asked the King curiously "This is the same thing in all jars. Why did you make us Choose?"

The King replied "Well, the first King started this tradition. So that the King can see all the magic an individual can have. This jar ceremony was started so that the individual felt that he chose the magic. This is done so that no one blames anyone for having bad magic. Technically this is true as the magic you can have is based on your personality. Sometimes people have a very good combination of magic as the person has a personality for each person they talk to. This is because the personality that shows sort of mixes all the personalities and creates magic. Anyway, now you can eat the crystal and your magic will be unlocked.",

After hearing this speech, we all ate the crystal. The crystal sort of melts in our mouth. After that, I had a huge swelling from my throat to my stomach l. It took a few minutes to be ok. Then my whole body starts to burn up. Soon Lily cried out of pain. After a few minutes, me and Noah grunted out of pain. Soon the pain vanished as we could feel something we have never felt. We felt a little dizzy as we had an energy pool in our brains. I expected the energy to pool in our stomach area. I was about to ask when the King said "Try to take the energy from the brain to your neck and slowly push it downwards till it reaches the stomach."

We all try to do what the King asked us to do. But the second we take energy from the brain to my neck. My eyes, nose, and everything on my face started burning after a few tries the burning stopped. Then when we tried to push the energy to our necks. The same thing happened. We did the same thing till all energy we had in our brains was now in our stomachs. We all were physically and mentally tired.

The King then said "Go to your room. Come meet me after you have all recovered."

We nodded as we didn't even have the energy to talk. As soon as I saw the bed I used my last ounce of energy to jump and reach the bed. Then I slept for 9 hours. The time was 8:47 pm. When I walked to the King's Chamber. I felt like my whole body got a boost. When I entered the King looked surprised.

The King then said "I guess you are a genius at using magic. You have already done the 2nd Basic Mage Exercise. Mana Body."

I asked "What do you mean? What is Mana's body?"

The King replied "You are more of a genius than I thought. You are doing that technique unconsciously. Well for your information, Mana body is the technique when we use mana to strengthen our body against most melee attacks like a punch or a kick. You are using an advanced version of it as you are pumping your mana into every single cell in your body. It boosts the cell's power to do superhuman things like jump high, runs as fast as a car and many more."

I had a shocked look for a few seconds. The. I calmed down and looked around I didn't see Noah or Lily.

The King seeing my worried look said "Don't worry. As you are an adult your body can adapt to mana more easily for them it will take a bit longer. They will wake up within an hour or two."

Hearing this I calmed down. Then I asked him "What is my magical Affinity?".

The King then took a device that looks like a calculator and put it against my brain. I felt a hint of pain. Then the pain vanished

The King then said "You have a combination magic - Manipulation. You have one of the best powers or the worst powers depending upon how you use it. I am not saying anything. I want you to experience it yourself."

The King then gave a book called "How to Learn and Use Magic Safely".

I then excused myself and asked King to call me if Noah or Lily woke up. Then I went to my guest room and started reading the book.

It had many chapters. The first chapter was called "How Do You Unlock Mana And What Happened After It".

The book then said

Mana is also known as the mental energy in the human body. To unlock Mana one must either have it at birth or have to eat the crystal the King has. Then you have to have enough mental energy to use it.

If you eat the crystal. Your body will experience what is known as Mana Adaptation. Your throat, food pipe and stomach will swell up for a few minutes due to consuming a small amount of mana. Then the whole body starts to burn up as the mana flows into your entire body. Then you will have physical and mental exhaustion as you consume your physical energy to make the mana flow into your entire body. The mental exhaustion to unlock your mana.

After you are awake you will have to redirect the mana to your stomach area as controlling mana when the mana pool is in your brain will make you dizzy and you may even explode your brain due to Mana Overlord.

When you move your mana to your stomach you will have to break five gates. The first gate is located in your brain. This will destroy the limiter placed on your brain.
