Chapter 16: Honkai Impact - New Arrivals

15 hours later after Sirin's Awakening as the Herrscher of the Void and escape to the Dark Side of the Moon...

Near the Tower of Babylonia

A Portal in Space-Time had opened up near the base of the main Shicksal laboratory facility.

From the Portal, four oddly shaped Human figures along with a fifth smaller figure emerged from the Portal.

Einstein of Anti-Entropy, who was currently with the Shicksal A rank Valkyries of the Snow Wolf squad, Shub-Niggurath and Salome, bore witness to the unexpected group that had appeared from the sudden Portal not far from them.

When they emerged from the Portal they immediately pointed their guns at Salome, Shub-Niggurath and Einstein, who likewise was ready for a battle.

"Stop! Lower your weapons!" A male voice called out from above.

Whenever everyone looked to who it was, the people that emerged from the Portal, who by now were fully visible can be recognised as Mordecai, Bloodwing, Brick, Roland and Lilith, were the ones to speak up first.

"Haha! What do you know, we found you already. Don't know why Angel was so worried and worked up for, alrighty then, time to head back. Where's the Portal gone?!" Mordecai shouted as he saw the Portal from which they had came through had suddenly vanished.

"Einstein, you two, stand down. They are friends of mine. What are you guys doing here?" Raime asked as he landed on the ground, as his Siren wings vanished.

Einstein didn't bother to respond but just moved over to the side and activated a communications device of some sort. Most likely, she was contacting Welt Yang and telling him what just happened.

"We came to get you because we thought you were in danger." Lilith said

"Danger? I mean sure, this world is very dangerous but I'd say I'll be able to survive it. Especially with my powers which you're already aware of. But how did you even know I came here let alone follow me?" I questioned them and Roland answered me.

"Angel told us and about the Portal to come here."

Ah, that makes sense.

He, she must be fuming because I ignored her warnings. Hmm, seems like she does care for me. I'm gonna tease her when I get back.

In fact, if I can obtain everything I wanted from this Universe, it can help speed up my plans to finding and saving Angel from wherever she is at all the more sooner than i originally would have. I could just straight up go and get her immediately within a day (90 hours, 3.75 Earth Days) when we get back to our Universe.

"Haha, that makes sense. Of course she would be worried. Speaking of which, I'll need to tell you guys alot of things I normally wouldn't be able to if we were still in our own universe, but first we should meet with the higher ups. This world is under the attack of a twelve year old girl that can destroy the planet at her whim."

"That's a nice joke." Brick said before he started chuckling.

"I gotta agree with Brick, this is quite funny." Mordecai said before he joined Brick in his light laughter.

As for Roland and Lilith, they both stared at me, and when they saw his serious expression they too took on a grim face.

"You're serious aren't you." Lilith muttered out, causing Mordecai and Brick to turn to look at her and then to me.

I didn't say anything else but just outstretched my hand to behind me and a Portal was created.

"What the fuck! Since when are you able to do that?!"

"Your slow Lilith, you gotta practice using your powers or you'll get left in the dust."

Without saying anything else, I walked through the portal, the others quickly followed after him, including Einstein who had long since ended her call with Welt.

"So let me get this straight. A small little twelve year old girl who had been tortured and experimented on by an organisation called Shicksal, had become a being called a Herrscher that has powers like us Sirens. She wants to destroy all of Humanity in her mission for revenge and you had allowed her to escape because you want to be her 'dad'?"

"Goddammit Lilith! You don't need to make it sound like I'm a perverted stalker or something! I just feel pity for her and don't actually want to kill her since she still has a chance to change her heart. Anyway, that's not the main reason I wanted to talk to you guys about. Its something about our Universe."

Roland, Mordecai, Lilith, Brick and Bloodwing were present as we all sat inside of a secure room I had Reinforced with my powers of Space, to create a lesser version of Sirin's Imaginary Space dimension. This way no one can evesdrop on us unless they are a Herrscher and forcibly make themselves known.

While I can do everything Sirin can do, I am still limited to my current Sirin Energy reserves, if I go over and use all of it, I would fall unconscious like I did the first week I cane to this Universe and used my powers recklessly.

"This is serious. In our Universe, I told you alot of things about the Vaults and Sirens. But it's far more than that. In our Universe, Free Will doesn't exist. Only Sirens have Free Will." I said, giving them the chance to digest the information.

As expected they couldn't handle it and Mordecai was the first one to lash out but Roland stopped him mid rant and was the calm one out of everyone, although even he was disturbed by his words.

"Calm down everyone. I'm sure there is a further explanation to everything. Please continue, we can't forget about this now."

"Alright then. Anyway, all beings in our Universe don't have Free Will, because their Fate and Destiny is predetermined or can be controlled by others, specifically by one being I am the most wary of and kept as many secrets from as possible. This being is Omnipresent, it knows everything that is happening in the universe because it can see and control all beings except for Sirens, because as I said, Sirens are thevonly ones with Free Will and the greatest risk to it's plans. This being is called The Seer, a being created by the Eridians, this sub-race are called Guardians. This Sub-Race is a mixture of both being a Organic and inorganic construct race akin to living semi-organic robots. The Seer, for reasons I don't know, is rebelling against it's Creator race's intention to protect the Vaults to wanting to release The Destroyer from its prison. When I told you before about The Destroyer, it's a Lie. The entire planet of Pandora is a Vault, it is the literal Prison of The Destroyer and the Vault Key to unlock it is the Moon Elpis. And the PhaseLeech Siren Nyriad, I already know that Nyriad failed to seal her power away, she lived out the last of her days inside a Vault on Nekrotafeo, the Eridian Homeworld. But Typhon DeLeon and his wife traveled there and entered the Vault, the PhaseLeech power of Nyriad entered the pregnant wife of Typhon, Leda. I have been withholding this information since if The Seer controls any one of you, he can use you to attack me or to learn what it is I know and would deem me the greatest threat to it un-sealing The Destroyer. Only me and Lilith are immune to it's influence. But since your all here I can help in giving all of you the ability to have Free Will of your own so when we go back, you won't be controlled by it or anything else in the universe." I stopped finishing what I wanted to say.

"..." The group was in stunned silence. Not knowing how to react.

Thinking of a solution I decided to drop one last bomb on them.

"Oh, by the way, Angel isn't an AI as she said. She's the PhaseShift Siren."

"What?!?!?!" Mordecai, Lilith, Brick and Roland all shouted in shock.

It took a while of explaining, but eventually everyone calmed down. I continued to explain and answer more questions they asked him.

I told them about my System Store as well, well not really, but I did say that with my powers of the PhaseSpace aspect, I can give money and sell things across the Universe and can aquire anything in turn by doing deals with the unknown merchants (aka the System Store) directly.

That was how I explained it to them and Mordecai seemed to realise it was how I git my weapons, especially my Sniper which i gave him, [Patience and Time].

They were all intrigued by the idea of what they could obtain and had asked if they can give me money they earn and he would get them whatever they wanted from the "merchants" (System Store).

It's not that I don't trust them, but it would be to hard to explain the concept to them, and if I said they were fictional characters, they would suffer an identity crisis.

Ontop of that I went into detail and explained Angel's past, her being a Siren and being controlled by her father, though I didn't say who the father was as of yet.

All of them felt pity for Angel, and Lilith was on board with my intention to saving her from her dad and freeing her from her captivity.

One by one the others agreed to help Lilith and I when we went to save Angel which suprised me, but I guess since I explained everything in full to them. Especially Angel's past and her accidentally awakening of her powers which killed her mother, they all came around.

And given the moment, I had taken the chance to use my Psychometry on Lilith and the others at any chance I got be it shaking hands or patting them on their backs as "thanks" for then to help me when the time comes to save Angel.

And just like that I gained all their knowledge and combat experiences, I didn't copy their memories of their personal life since my mind wouldn't be able to handle the life history of 4 people within such a short time span. Even I had trouble processing everything i had just absorbed which gave me a minor headache to my augmented mind that had Salarian DNA.

Unfortunately, the touchy moment came to an end when alarms within the Tower of Babylonia, the Shicksal facility we were in, went off and red lights flashing everywhere.

Without wasting time, all 5 of us, along with good old unforgettable Bloodwing, rushed outside and to the main control room where Siegfried, Welt, Einstein, Tesla were at, which wasn't that far away.

"What's the situation!" I said, feigning ignorance though I already knew what was happening.

"4 meteors were launched from the Dark Sidebof the Moon and caused wide spread destruction along the Pacific. Millions of casualties and many coastal cities have been either been completely destroyed by tidal waves or had at least 50% worth of destruction dealt to them." Einstein gave the report from the pad like device she was holding as she made it so that it became visible on all the screens in the room for us to see.

"Sirin's gained more powers than she had before. She wouldn't have been able to do something like this on her own." I said confidently as the others just stared at me.

"That's fantastic isn't it, especially for the person that allowed her to escape." Welt said as he gave me a glare of hostility.

"Don't even try it Welt, unless you want us to go a second round, I'm all down for it. But do remember who won the last time."

I reminded him as I got ready to fight the Herrscher of Reason again.

After I had allowed Sirin to escape before, Welt had fought me to almost a standstill, but with a well timed teleport, I had been able to get close to him and hold my Darksaber and gun to his vital points. Ready to kill him.

"Now's not the time for that, we need to do something about the Second Herrscher!" Tesla, the red haired girl that had a soft spot for Welt said while coming in between the both of us.

"*sigh*...Tesla, Einstein. Prep the 'Silver Bullets' and launch them at the Moon." Welt said while he still stared at me, expecting me to try and take action to protecting Sirin as I had done before.

"Why call them 'Silver Bullets' just use their actual names, Atomic Bombs. But be my guest, as if any of them will get the chance to hit her."

Welt just gave me a suprised questioning look.

"Why would you be on board with this all of a sudden, what's your game?"

"I have none. Sirin has already killed millions of people, whereas before when I protected her from you she didn't. She is just a girl who had been tortured, it's only natural for her to vent her anger out at her captors. But the situation has changed. You are welcome to do what you want, but if she doesn't die to your 'Silver Bullets' I am still going to help calm her down. If I'm not mistaken, didn't your predecessor, the real 1st Herrscher of Reason cause wide spread death and destruction before he changed and became 'good?' You all are a bit hypocritical for wanting to kill her just cause she killed a few million people?"

The others seemed to twitch their eyes and have conflicting expressions over my words.

After saying my peace, I left the room without saying anything else. Roland, Lilith, Mordecai, Brick and Bloodwing all followed after me.

72 hours later....

12 hours after my confrontation with Welt and the others, the orders from Welt was sent to the Anti-Entropy North America branch, which promptly prepared and launched multiple 'Silver Bullets' at the Moon.

Unfortunately for them, all their 'Silver Bullets' were rendered useless.

The reason being because of Benares, the loyal Honkai Beast Dragon of Sirin, had been given a imitation of the Gem of Conquest causing Benares to become like a Pseudo-Herrscher with the powers of the Herrscher of Thunder. Granting her the ability to assume a Human form, which Sirin re-named her as Bella, in the memory of her Human friend that died in the Shicksal laboratory.

Benares, or now named Bella, had used a EMP to deactivate the Silver Bullets launched at the Moon.

Over the next 60 hours, Sirin had launched multiple Meteors at Earth, way more so than what she had done in the comic story of the Second Honkai Eruption.

As for Sirin. The new powers she had acquired was because she had met with God/Prometheus on the Moon.

Or more specifically a sealed part of God. In the Previous Era, Dr.MEI responsible for creating the Prometheus A.I. sealed a part of it in what would be called the Palace of Selene on the Dark Side of the Moon.

Sirin was given powers by it/"God" of the next 4 Herrschers in the form of Gems, (not real Herrscher Cores but still has the power of said Herrscher it would one day awaken inside of) that would come after Sirin being in this order.

(Example, Gem of Conquest will fully form inside of Raiden Mei of current Era and make her the Herrscher of Thunder. Gem of Desire forms inside of Wemdy as the Herrscher Core of the Wind. And so on for the last 2 Gems.)

The following powers which Sirin was granted in addition to her own Herrscher powers as the Herrscher of the Void are:

Purple Gem - Gem of Conquest - Herrscher of Thunder - Electromagnetism, Lighting Manipulation

Turquoise Gem - Gem of Desire - Herrscher of Wind - Wind Manipulation, Ideal Fluid Creation

Blue Gem - Gem of Serenity - Herrscher of Death - Life & Death Manipulation

Red Gem - Gem of Haste - Fire Manipulation, acceleration of atoms

The order of Herrschers appearing will always be the same though there are certain exceptions in rare cases, but normally it would follow this pattern.

There are a total of 14 Herrschers each one are as follows:

1st - Herrscher of Reason - Superhuman Analytical capabilities and can re-create any and all Human Technology that has been comprehended.

2nd - Herrscher of the Void - Spatial and Dimensional Manipulation

3rd - Herrscher of Thunder - Electromagnetism and Lighting Manipulation

4th - Herrscher of the Wind - Wind Manipulation and Ideal Fluid Creation

5th - Herrscher of Ice - De-accelerate Atoms and Ice Manipulation

6th - Herrscher of Death - Compose/Regenerate matter &

7th - Herrscher of Fire - Accelerate Atoms and Fire Manipulation

8th - Herrscher of Sentience - Telepathy

9th - Herrscher of Rock/Stars - Gravity and Earth Manipulation

10th - Herrscher of Domination/Legion - Create 1,000 Pseudo-Herrscher clones and control the 6 elements of Lightning, Ice, Wind, Fire, Earth and Magic to a lesser extent than other specialised Herrschers.

11th - Herrscher of Binding - Manipulate and weaken any kind of energy, including Houkai. Field Creation that can affect all forms of Energy.

12th - Herrscher of Corruption - Corrupt Anything be it Biological or Inorganic technology

13th - Herrscher of Origin - Human Consciousness

14th - Herrscher of Finality/The Final Herrscher - Time Manipulation

(A/n Elysia is the 13th Herrscher of Origin in the Previous Era, I already mentioned her before and explained her power, so don't ask, or just search it up. Or if someone has the effort to write it cause I can't be asked to 😜)

This is the reason why Sirin is the 2nd most greatest calamity to befall this world in all of it's history. Sirin had the powers of 5 Herrschers and almost ended the world. Whereas the Herrscher of the End/Finally/Final Herrscher is the 1st greatest calamity since ut had actually succeeded in destroying Human civilization of the Previous Era.

But Sirin as of now is extremely dangerous.

Since she has the Gem of Serenity, and because she is being given constant and infinite Honkai Energy by Prometheus/'God', she cannot die.

Before the Herrscher of Death can Regenerate buy not to a godly degree, if its body is destroyed or it suffers heart deatruction or decapitation then they will die. Of course they can resurrect, but onpy if the Core is undamaged and ut would take a while.

Sirin, because she is being protected by 'God' and is given infinite Honkai energy so long as she is connected to 'God', then even if Sirin's head is cut off, blown up, heart crushed, and disintegrated, she can still recover and Regenerate.

The only way to stop this is to cut off her connection to 'God' and Fu Hua has the onoy known method to doing so with an attack that can also target the Soul. Because 'God' blocked the attack for Sirin she survived but the connection was severed, after all a part of 'God' is still sealed in the Palace of Selene.

As for what I am doing currently, I had convinced Welt, though not without extreme difficulty, to have him analyse a small piece of Eridium ore which I have.

I wanted Welt to use his powers as the Herrscher of Reason to re-create and analyse the Eridium ore in full detail and in return I said I would let him keep it.

And so that was how I spent the last 60 hours. Locked up with Welt in the lab along with Einstein who worked hard to analyse the Eridium. I had also given them a choice, if they did help me to analyse the Eridium and re-create synthetic Eridium, I will be able to do any one of the following on their orders.

One, I can use the Eridium to forcibly remove the Herrscher Core from Sirin rendering her a Human once more.

Two, I can kill Sirin permanently.

Three, I can take Sirin away into a separate Universe, the same one from which I come from which is the same as making a Black Hole to suck her in essentially which Welt had previously done in the Comics.

Welt wasn't sure if I would keep my word, but I threatened him by saying I would ally myself with Sirin if Welt was unable to create the synthetic Eridium, since I can just have Sirin make it herself instead of Anti-Entropy.

So with no other option they were forced to accept my request.

I didn't trust them, so I made sure to use my Psychometry on them when I got the chance to soak in what knowledge and data they had researched on the Eridium.

I also took their memories and I learned that Einstein had wanted to betray me by handing over a fake altered version of the synthetic Eridium, but unexpectedly, Welt held true to his deal and didn't tamper with the data he had given a physical copy of to me.

And with great success, I had gotten my hands on 3 Tons of synthetic Eridium everyday!

Using the chance, I was currently on my way to Lilith's room to have her absorb the Eridium and become stronger, but I would be there in person to make sure she did it right and would be fine.
