Chapter 36: The Meetings

After awhile it was time to go home. "Ok well I guess its time to go home. We won't see each other until next Wednesdays. I will see you all then. Bye." Then we all said bye and went back on our horses and Aria rode with Jay.

I just got Aria down and she started shouting, "Big brother! Big brother!" I looked up and saw Arion. "OK be careful ok?" She shot off like a jet. We watched her go. Arion caught his little sis.

"Wow there little sis. Where is mom and dad?" "Were right here." I said. "She saw you and got excited. I hope your not too busy." Said Jay. "No actually I'm on break." "Ok good its getting late when do you get off?" I have 2 more hours of training then I can come home and go to bed for the night." "Ok well I will see you then." I said. "Yeah mom don't worry I won't work too hard I promise." "Yeah I know." So we said goodbye I took Aria and went inside to find the twins. "Oh hi mom." said Kida. "Did you get back from somewhere?" "Yeah Today is the day of Fawns death. After I visited her she is in eve's guest house now. Since her mom died." "Yeah I heard. How is she?" "Well as good as you can get when you loose a child or a mother." "I see. I'm sorry mom." "Its ok sweetie." "Oh hi mom." said Adrian. "Hello how have you been?" "OK I guess." Then we talked a bit and it was time for bed.

I finally saw Arion before he went to bed then we headed to bed as well. "Hmm. Today has been a long day. I am so tired." I said. I felt a little lightheaded and almost fell jay caught me in time. "Are you ok? Do I need to call a doctor?" "No I'm fine just a little lightheaded from being tired. I'll get changed and go to bed." "Ok but be careful ok?" "I'll be fine don't worry." Finally both of us went to bed and cuddled up to sleep.

The next morning I got up got dressed then headed out with Jay. Someone came to me and said the King was calling for me. "Ok sure." "Jay go find Aria and spend time with her it shouldn't take long." "Sure." He gave me a kiss on the forehead and cheek then I left for the office.

I got to the office and was announced then went in and a saw a man maybe 20 years old or younger. "Hello Your majesty." I bowed. "Oh princess Talia. Hello this is Aries. He is the one I told you I wanted you to meet." "Hello your highness." He bowed. "Hello Aries nice to meet you." "Nice you meet you too your highness." "Oh you can call me princess Talia." "OK Princess Talia. I heard you also are involved with the foxes?" I cleared my throat. "Yes. Since I was 16 I have had a fox named Koda. I found his sister and we went to the villiage and found out there parents survived. I first saw it in a vision. Its like I was seeing thru his eyes only I never saw them die. I wake up before that. That's when I went to the village and we met with his parents and stayed there a bit. Apparently there is this fox named Cyan who is an emerald fox who could have done something to me. I was told to be careful for awhile just in case I loose control. Koda and I bonded for life. He has a mark as well as his sister." "I see and your worried that if you do loose control you will hurt someone or do something bad right?" "Something like that." "Well first of all I want to tell you I'm sorry. Just recently Cyan permanently got the mark as well. I am his master for life. The day he probably met you I was off doing some errands. I left him at home for now in case he caused trouble." "I see. Koda it around in the forest somewhere running around probably. So have you ever lost control?" "I have. That is why I am here today. Yes it is scary. After I was told to stay calm but couldn't I ran to the forest where I live and that is were I lost control. When I finally came back to my senses, I was surprised at the damage. The good thing about you though is that you have someone that can help you if you do loose control. He won't die too easy and that is your fox. He may be in his late 20's but he is strong enough to hold you down until you calm down." "Is that true?" I looked at my uncle then I heard a Knock.

Koda was introduced and he was allowed in. Koda walked in and greeted Aries. "Hello Aries." "Hello Koda Congrats on getting a permanent master." "Yeah you too. I heard from Cyan." "Thanks." "SO you are here cause princess is afraid of loosing control?" "Yes the King brought me here." "Oh I see. Then that's perfect. So yes its true that I can hold you so its not a problem. I only heard the end of the conversation." "How do you feel now Princess Talia?" Said the King. "I feel a little better. Thank you your Majesty." "OK can I talk to princess Talia myself now?" said the king. "Yes of course your Majesty. We will take our leave." Said Koda.

Once they were gone the King sighed. "Sigh. Are you really ok with this Talia?" "Yes Uncle I was just afraid of what might happen. There were times when I got frustration and Jay had to calm me down. Now that I know Koda can help me I'm relieved." "Well the thing is he can help you doesn't mean he will be unhurt." "I know uncle. How is the preparations for the ball coming?" "Oh thankfully we are almost done." The ball is only a couple weeks away now." "Yes I know." Next week I have some errands to run I'll be leaving Wednesday if there is anything we need for the ball let me know I will pick it up." "Yes of course. Listen Talia I'm sorry for what my brother did to you. For taking you from your mom and dad." "Oh it happened years ago and I reunited with them. I forgave him a long time ago and aunt as well. Plus I grew up loved by step and adopted sibilings. I was loved by them as well. It would have been different if I was mistreated but I was loved that is all that matters. Plus its not your fault it was your half brothers." "Yes I know I just wanted to apologize on his behalf but thanks." "NO problem. Is there any thing else uncle?" "Nope. Just remember to stay calm ok? Have Koda by you quite a bit." "Yeah I told Koda about my frustration as well that is why he probably was with cyan so he can stay with me more." "OK then. You can go if you wish." "Thank you uncle."

Days went on and it was finally the day the my brother was going to meet Lily. "Well Jay. Today it is the day I go on those errands. You stay here and do any last minute stuff. Plus keep the little one company ok?" "Ok take Koda with you." "Yes he will don't worry." I got dressed in my casual clothes to ride on the horse.

I had company at the gate. "Bye bye Aria. Mommy will be back later ok?" I held her and gave her kisses and hugs. Then I gave Jay a kiss on the cheek and a hug. "I love you too Jay. Arion don't overwork and good luck on your test. Are you ready for the ball?" "Yes mom. I am and thanks I need it." "Hang on. I have something for you Arion." I took out a necklace I mean to give him at the ball but giving it to him now. "This was your birth mothers. It was a good luck charm she gave me to give to you when you needed it. Now it the time I give it to you." He took it from my hand and looked at it. "This is! This is one of the things I remember when I was little I think it must have been my birthfathers." "Yes it was before he died he gave it to your mom she gave it to me and now I am giving it to you. Good luck son." Thanks mom." "OK everyone I'll see you when I get back. Lets go Koda." "Yes Princess." So we were off.

"Hello again mom. Hello dad. Where is my dear brother Derion?" "He is in his room deciding on what to wear." "Ok I will help him out." I knocked on Derion's door. (Knock Knock) "Its Talia brother." "Come in. Hello sis. You said to dress casual but good looking what is that?" "Hehe let me see what you have." I looked in his closet and found a shirt I always liked on him then I found some pants that would look good with it and I picked out the shoes. "Here put these on and lets go." "Woah sis are we in that much of a hurry?" "A little bit. Its already 11:00 we will need to be in town in an hour. It takes a half an hour to get there." "OK OK." I left and waited for him.

Finally he was done and came down. I looked at him and said, "Come with me. I need to do something with your hair." "Oh come on sis. Its not like I'm going on a date." "Don't be so sure." He had a shocked face. I finally finished his hair and we went out got on our horses and headed to town.

"Ok once we get to town I talked to your horse already it knows where its going. Once you get there look over by a Sakura tree. With pink flowers. Then I will do my business while you are there."

We finally got to town and nodded. "Remember what I said Derion. Sakura tree with pink flowers." "Yes and have fun. You will know what I mean when you get there."

Derion got to his destination and finally got off his horse. The horse knew to stay there. He looked for the tree his sis was talking about. Then he finally found it and walked towards it. Once he finally got there he was looking around then he noticed a little head poking out from behind the tree. "N-No it can't be? Lily?" "Y-yes its me. Do you mind if we talk a bit?" "No of course not lets sit down." She brought a blanket and put it down. They both sat on it and Lily started talking. "Princess Talia came to my house a couple weeks ago I was crying because I didn't have a date to the ball. She mentioned that you didn't either. Then we started talking about you. She explained it to me. I apologize for the misunderstanding. I thought you had a girlfriend but it was your sister you went to meet that day. Also I want to know if we can start over." He was silent for a moment then said, "Hello my name is Derion. What's yours?" she looked at him shocked for a second and said, "My name is Lily." "Oh Lily nice to meet you. Lilies are beautiful flowers just like you." She blushed. Then he said, "Lily if you don't mind would you like to be my date to the ball?" "Y-Yes of course. Then after if you want I would like to be your girlfriend." He was shocked when she was so bold to say that. "Thank you Lily. Now that I will say yes too." "So does that make us official?" "Yes of course it does." So they leaned in and Derion kissed her lips. It was getting pretty deep so he stopped. "Ok well we should stop here for now. Lets not rush too much." "Hehe yeah your right." Then they talked a bit.

After awhile someone came by to tell Derion that Talia was leaving and to make sure Lily got home ok. "Ok will give her that message tell her thank you." "I will." After awhile it was time to take her home. She got on his horse even though it wasn't that far from where they met. They got to her place and they both went in. "Hello daddy." "Oh Lily how was it?" Then he saw Derion. "Oh Hello Derion. How have you been?" "I've been ok sir." "Dad he asked me to go to the ball with him. I said yes and also we are dating now." "Is that so?" "Yes sir. I hope its ok." "Its actually the news I was hoping for. You kiddo are a hard worker I've always liked you. I told her it was probably a misunderstanding and she didn't listen to me. Now all that I ask is to not get her pregnant before marriage please." Dad we are in our mid 20's now. I'm a big girl. Even if I do have a kid before I'm married won't hurt anything." "I know I just don't want you kid to be made fun of for not having married parents." "I know dad. You don't want what happened to me to happen to our child. Trust me we will be fine. I promise. Even if it does happen we won't let it happen again ok?" Then she hugged her daddy. "Oh sweetie. I love you so much." "I love you too daddy. I miss mom at times like this." "Your mother would be very proud of you." "thanks dad." "I'm proud of you too." then there were tears in her eyes then she noticed Derion was there. Then she wiped her eyes and cleared her throat. "Sorry about that." "Its fine. Well I should be heading back. The ball is next week on Saturday to welcome my big sister even if she lived here for 6 months already." Then he got on his horse and said. I will pick you up around 6:30 so be all beautified by then. Is that the word the girls use these days?" "Just go wierdo I love you too. see you then." She watched until he was out of site then went back inside.

When he got back home he saw Talia still there. "Talia can I see you for a minute?" "Sure of course baby brother." I chuckled. So he brought me to his room and said, "So Lilly huh?" "Yes we are best friends." "Oh so you knew here before us?" "Yes I did. I knew she didn't have a boyfriend yet and I remember her talking about a boy named Derion. That's when it came to me." "I see well I want to thank you. I asked her to the ball and she said yes and also um well…" "Don't tell me. You two are dating?" "Yes we are official. We sort of kissed at the park. I saw her dad after I dropped her off and he was happy." "Well then congrats on getting a girlfriend. Now your brother can't make fun of you." "He will find ways." "Ok so are you going to tell everyone?" "Yes at dinner tonight." "Well it's a good thing I'm staying for dinner then." After we talked we headed down.

Few hours later it was dinner time. Then Derion said, "Everyone I have an announcement to make." Then everyone quieted down. "I have a girlfriend." It was still silent for a moment. Then everyone cheered. "Congrats Derion." Said dad. "Yeah is it Lily?" "How did you know?" "Just a hunch." After talking for a bit it was time for me to headed home. "Well I better be going. Thanks mom and dad. Oh and Indigo. Don't tease Derion so much." "I'll do my best no promises." "Jeeze you guys are adults you act like kids." "Haha I guess it's a mom thing." Said Indigo. "You will understand when you become a father." Said Eve.

I finally got home saw my kids to bed then went to bed myself and snuggled with my husband.
